Honestly Dark Souls is not that hard gameplay wise, the lack of knowledge makes it so difficult. You are just dropped into this world without any real hints whatsoever. You need at least one playthrough to understand some of the basics. But that's the fun part of the game, nearly at every new playthrough you discover something new.
Corgis and Shiba Inus are overrated.
Feminism is a positive thing that idiots will never cease to misunderstand.
It's true, the only reason why they're getting bad flak atm is because of the large influx of college girls microblogging about exaggerated allegories in the entertainment industry, while using words like 'partriarchy'.
It's rude to call other people "casuals" as an insult (how is being a casual gamer a bad thing anyway?)
People who dedicate their entire lives to gaming see it as an insult because they sink so much time into it and actually enjoy doing so.
The MMO "genre" is god awful. Players need to try other genres of games to see that others things can be social and much funner. Really, a ton of diehard MMO players dont even try non mmo games. Developers need to realize that grinding is really fucking boring and makes you look super lazy. I am looking at you, Blizzard, Jagex and every f2p mmo maker ever.
Corgis and Shiba Inus are overrated.
How can a breed of dog be overrated lmao People just think they're cute
little dogs suck in general
I won't say they suck, I love all dogs, but I prefer medium or large breeds. Boxers and Weimaraners are my favorites. I've owned 2 weims, and I always had a soft spot for Boxers with uncropped ears.
I see people bring there small dogs to my work place all the time, fucking chihuahua almost ripped my face off

Anyone who goes on tumblr should know what I mean.
Assassins Creed is Bad, it is the same shit every year, just like CoD
Avatar was a piece of shit movie with nothing special inside it and still it became one of the worlds best movie because of some blue monkeys jumping around.
Avatar was a piece of shit movie with nothing special inside it and still it became one of the worlds best movie because of some blue monkeys jumping around.
holy shit yes literally no plot no innovation no idea to convey just lots and lots and lots of dollars in marketing and special effects could also say that about Avengers, while it wasn't terrible, for the time it lasted I was having fun, but just as I walked out of the cinema I felt robbed, nothing stuck in my mind, nothing to think about aside from how annoying the dudes sitting behind me were I guess that goes for 90% of hollywood movies
People rely too much on genetics as a excuse for not doing things. No, you are probably not going to become the fastest sprinter in the world, even if you train every day. But even an extremely fat person can lose the weight and become super fit. A kid with parents as dumb as rakes can study hard enough to become an physicist. People underestimate their own capabilities based on what is expected of us, rather than what they actually want to achieve.
I think people just come into this thread to post VERY popular opinions so they can whore ratings.
I think people just come into this thread to post VERY popular opinions so they can whore ratings.
I think part of it is also outside of Facepunch. Like Avatar. I remember when I said I didn't like it I got a lot of flak in real life. (I also actively tried to avoid watching it because the main selling point seemed to be that a lot of money was spend on it.)
I think that's a VERY popular opinion.
The irony of it is part of the joke
Feminism is a movement which consists of people who desperately try to force society in a direction that it will never go.
Feminism is a movement which consists of people who desperately try to force society in a direction that it will never go.
I think it's partly due to human nature and the way our hormones work. Feminism supports women taking up roles currently dominated by men, but nature seems to want it the other way around. Naturally, women are caretakers and men are providers, it's just the way we've evolved. But now, with our current technological advances (like baby formula),it's completely possible for a man to be a caretaker and a woman to be a provider, but the way that our minds are wired sort of keeps it from happening. It doesn't help that men can generally overpower women due to their natural roles as providers giving them more strength. And men are more competitive because of their original position as providers, so they don't want women entering their competition partly because it's what they once were fighting over. Again, I don't dislike feminism, it's just kind of being held back by the way that nature built us. Feminism is basically trying to take us out of this stage of our existence in which we're civilized but still dependent on our natural urges and temptations, and lead us into a more thought-based system of action where our primitive instinct doesn't mean as much.
The walking dead is overrated Game of Thrones is overrated
"Rock and Roll All Night" by KISS is one of the most fucking annoying songs ever written. And this is coming from a KISS fan.
It's more entertaining If you imagine the "I" in the chorus as being an "Ah" of sudden realization or enlightenment. My friends in an art class would make fun of the song whenever it came on the radio. "Aaaahhh, wanna rock n' roll all night?"
Feminism is a movement which consists of people who desperately try to force society in a direction that it will never go.
that's not unpopular in the least
Is popularity on the internet even worth trying for? Like twitter for example, you get a start, neat people start following you, you get retweeted more, then you get an influx of followers that you want nothing to do with, and suddenly you wonder whether you're actually doing well or if it's just a farce. I've noticed 3 different people I follow deactivate today, and I'm guessing that's why.
Popularity on the internet is like a ticket to fame and glory, although it's kind of hard and can fail really hard. Although I never liked Twitter that much.
Halo 1 was a very good game and no game in the series has come close.
I dont like bacon....I wanted to like it but I just cant.
Hacking/Cheating in a game is more fun than playing 'legit.' The game WarZ gets too much hate for what it's worth.
Hacking/Cheating in a game is more fun than playing 'legit.'
Depending on the game I might not even try to play it legitly (only singleplayer of course, unless I'm screwing with a friend) because it's just a lot more fun to cheat. (Doom for example is usually a lot more fun with cheats.)
I'm against almost ANY form of gun control/restriction. I believe Sandy Hook School Shooting was staged. Those two are pretty damn unpopular opinions.
