Being ok or even happy with shitty people (murderers, child molesters, rapists, so on) dying or getting the death penalty does not make you some kind of messed up in the head weird sociopath
On the other hand, not being okay with the death penalty or vigilante justice doesn't make you some hippy.
I think funerals are ridiculous and a waste of time. When I died I don't want a god damn 7,000 casket and have some smug ass funeral home take 6,000 dollars out of my dead money for doing absolutely nothing or have some plot of land you have to pay 5000 dollars for so I can waste space. Give me a wooden grave marker and bury me in the woods, let me go back to nature. Actually, having a fruit tree for a grave would be pretty rad. Instead of flowers, people could just take an apple or something.
That's one thing that's kind of unsettling is the whole industry on dieing.

Where they play songs of my request. and that song would be "Should I Stay or Should I Go Now" by The Clash.
All I want is heavy rain in my funeral, if it's not raining I will demand a rain machine in my will.
id rather be cremated, i dont like the idea of my body becoming putrefied one day the fruit tree idea is p cool though
You can actually pay around a thousand dollars total for somebody to plant a tree inside of your cremated ashes. They add them into a sort of mix that helps the plant grow inside of it. So instead of paying metric fucktons of cash just so that they can dump a box containing your body into the ground, you can help the environment for much less than that.
ORAS is a really shitty game. People who defend it so fucking hard are driven so by nostalgia, too much to even critique it. I can't wait for another original pokemon game, this shit is like a chore to play. No challenges, no pokemon variety, an many other things too. It's pretty as fuck but visuals can only go so far to make a good game.
To be fair, doing taxes is more fun than Destiny :v: And in regards to Saints Row, I am in full support of the direction they took with SR:TT. Sure I wasn't a huge fan of the game itself, but the decision to go to a more ludicrous extreme was a great idea. And 4 was simply fantastic. 3 had a lot of jokes that died on arrival but 4 was genuinely hilarious and was a fun ride the whole way through. Even if it felt disjointed with some conflicting design choices (IE: cars being extensively customizable while being rendered mostly pointless by super powers) and was more of a SR3.5 than a full sequel, I would say beyond a shadow of a doubt it was some of the most FUN I had with a game in a long time. As much as I love SR2, If they didn't do what they did with the series it wouldn't have lasted. I'm glad they developed into their having their own identity instead of solely being a parody of sandbox crime games. [editline]24th November 2014[/editline] Let's just pray we get a game about the Saints doing [sp]crazy time travel shenanigans [/sp]
well, this isn't technically my opinion, but my friend says he thinks that Shadow of Mordor was more disappointing than Destiny (he actually really enjoys it). He says you do a lot of the same stuff in Destiny but it's on a bunch of different planets and shit
Even if it felt disjointed with some conflicting design choices (IE: cars being extensively customizable while being rendered mostly pointless by super powers)
To be fair on that one they probably just dumped the previous customization system into the game and just updated it to match with the rest of the game with as little work as possible.
well, this isn't technically my opinion, but my friend says he thinks that Shadow of Mordor was more disappointing than Destiny (he actually really enjoys it). That would make it less of a disappointment for me than Shadow of Mordor.
I don't really like pokemon at all
Have you played it? They actually made it fun to find random encounters with that DexNav system. They merged an old story and mixed in a new one. It somehow stays true to the original and yet feels new at the same time. New exp share (bittersweet, though) That new music Berry farming isnt as shit as in X Y. That secret base system tho However they did NOT balance it with the new experience share. I'm like 20 levels above everything but I do fight every trainer, and rebattle some. Also wow that 2d background in the second route, like can you not even render a few more trees? That was graphically disappointing. ORAS, even if it was terrible, will still be MILES ahead of XY. XY was shit in comparison. Healers on every damn route so there wasn't an "adventure! challenge, not balanced for the improved exp share, No god damn rebattles, story was awful (for a pokemon story), endgame was literally hatching eggs, not really any secrets to find, waaay too linear, etc etc Don't shove every differing opinion into the "nostalgia!!" category, the fact its a remake of my favorite gen actually makes me be more critical to it
yeah, sadly I spent over 90 bucks for two copies. What I got was literally the same game with a 3D overhaul. :V [editline]24th November 2014[/editline] but, hoenn is my least favorite mostly because there is no pokemon variety. Anyone who played ruby/sapphire is basically getting the same thing and it's definitely not worth the price. Whatever Nintendo is doing they're doing it wrong just to make that region relevant again. [editline]24th November 2014[/editline]
I don't really like pokemon at all
I don't blame you, it got really shitty after 3rd, pokemon-wise. Most of the pokemon in the game are ugly as fuck, the players are annoying fanboys and girls that can't say a bad thing about the game and can't take it if someone criticizes it. The gen that has the worst pokemon by far is 6th aside from a few :v:

I tried playing X and Leafgreen at various points after that and they bored me to tears
oddly enough, the one pokemon game I've played that I could stand enough to play to completion was White. I tried playing X and Leafgreen at various points after that and they bored me to tears
I liked Black and White but the characters were annoying to me... I felt that in XY the dialogue and writing got TONS better with even more likeable characters. Yeah the older pokemon games are boring sadly, but I still love Gold/Silver/Crystal. Something about it is just so right
Black/White was one of my favorites. What I loved the most about it is that you couldn't encounter any of the old Pokemon until you beat the game. Every new route, I saw some cool new Pokemon that I wish I had enough space for on my team. It was the first game where I used an entire full team of Pokemon without HM slaves.
I'm glad the Ferguson cop didn't get indicted. He was simply doing his job.

And Cheese Nips, to me at least, actually taste really bland in comparison to the equivalent flavor of Cheez-its.
I don't like FF7. I even like FF X-2 more.
Despite the fact that certain historically marginalised ethnic groups (such as the Irish, the Polish, or several Balkanese ethnicities) don't face discrimination in contemporary societies such as in the US, it doesn't mean that their historic marginalisation no longer matters or is irrelevant, or has even completely ceased.
Well, it's unpopular on this forum, but I think there should still have been a trial for the Ferguson cop. It would have given a definite answer about it rather than just "well whatever we're not gonna bother with the whole trial thing we'll just assume he did his job right"
I feel this could be confused as some MRA post (I hope not), but here in my town, the "man" of the relationship does everything. It screams "nuclear-family-esque", and that's just not a equal relationship. It just eventually evolves into the stay-at-home mom shit. I think if feminism needs to move forward, we have to stop treating women not like "sexual" objects, but just "objects". This includes women treating themselves like this. Obviously buying food or driving a gf everywhere is a showcase of love nowadays, but it also is chivalry, IF the man is always buying the food, having to bring them everywhere in a nice car, etc. If a man has to do the work, trying to impress them so much, and treat them like a "princess" the problem of women's equality continues. Same goes for in the past, where women would just be offered bus seats by men just because they were women, and nothing else. They are just seen as delicate and dainty in the end.
Hoenn is your least favorite. You already played Ruby/Sapphire, so you knew what you were getting. (and you'd know how waay different the remakes are, also they're REMAKES, they're not going to make absolutely everything new) You think pokemon got shitty after 3-d You hate the fanbase and enjoy calling them nostaligia-fueled arguments because your reasons aren't very good for all the negativity. You hate this gen's pokemon even though you knew what was going to be in it because (hey it's a REMAKE) And you still bought 2 copies???
I bought one for me and one for my girlfriend, I had a gut feeling I shouldn't have but I did anyways. I thought maybe they would fix a lot of the things that I thought were wrong with the games before but I guess not. I don't know why anybody would buy the games considering they're... exactly the same as they used to be. At least I got 100 potions though... :v:

Especially if they have children. That kind of relationship isn't really a bad idea at all though either gender should fit into either slot. Same with the whole chivalry thing but it is kind of genetically ingrained among-st men to be competitive, and for women to be selective. Thus probably making the whole chivalry thing stay a guy thing for the most part. I think it's kind of stupid to assume all the financial responsibility for dates etc. especially if the other person is capable of paying at least a couple of times but that's just me.
To be fair stay at home moms don't just sit on their ass doing nothing while their husband goes off and works, they have plenty of work that needs to get done.
With kids especially it can become more than a full time job anyways. Even more so if the person working subscribes to the belief that if you work you don't need to do more to help out around the house.

TBH I'd rather have an actual job rather than being at home and having the narcissistic time-vacuums they call children being my bosses.

People just want to assume the roles of a nuclear family, and it does not help society progress. Why don't we see stay out home dads? It's just taboo amongst society. It's chivalry in play.

Men tend to have higher earning jobs (Let's not dive into why right now, tons of reasons, some logical and some are social). It only makes sense the one who gets more money keep working while the other stay at home to take care of the children. If I only made 40k while the girl made 100k and she spat out a child, it'd be me that would stay at home to take care of it and keep things nice. It's just that it's usually the other way around, leading to the woman to stay home.

Glad we can agree!
