Crafting systems in RPGs suck. Especially if the gear you craft is markedly better than looted gear. My reasoning? What's more interesting? "I was exploring the woods once and found a cave. Then a giant came out and attacked me. When I finally managed to kill it I got a legendary shield made out its toenail!" Vs. "I ran through the same cave in crestwood 9 times to farm the respawning stormheart veins so I can make a sword."

I think Fallout 3 and New Vegas were the only ones that I ever got use out of crafting. Also I guess Shin Megami Tensei if you consider their demon fusion system as crafting.

Why can't I go to a blacksmith and just commission a suit of armour? Why do I have to scavenge everything? Though this is just part of the larger complaint of RPGs being fucking stupid. Why can't I just take the entire goat I've just hunted, why do I just take the pelt?
I think Saints Row is a million times better than Grand Theft Auto.

Your opinion is objectively, factually wrong.
[editline]3rd December 2014[/editline] I'd probably think about that if Saints Row wasn't some vapid mess of kiddish humor that relied on being spontaneous and random to be appealing. [editline]3rd December 2014[/editline]
This generation of teenagers are completely fucked up.
I do so hope you are wearing a fedora right now that'd make this comment so perfect.
"Being spontaneous and random" was a sizable part of the appeal of the early, pre-GTA 4, games.

Skinner box shit, you know?
Why can't I go to a blacksmith and just commission a suit of armour? Why do I have to scavenge everything?
Because that's not fun? I'd rather work to get materials or a drop of a high powered item than ordering it off the medieval Amazon dot com.
Expensive food tastes little better than cheap food. Some expensive foods (like caviar) are awful too and people only pretend to like it.
randumb humor is still funny.
Girls can be literally impossible to understand at times.
"Being spontaneous and random" was a sizable part of the appeal of the early, pre-GTA 4, games.
No, they were satirical. They makes jokes, because their not fucking robots, but I would never call GTA "spontaneous and random".
Girls can be literally impossible to understand at times.
Boys can be literally impossible to understand at times too, it's not just a gender thing.
This generation of teenagers are completely fucked up.

I don't get as to why parents think they're always in the right, I guess parents just lose there common sense when they're arguing with there children.

Girls can be literally impossible to understand at times.
You're 17, how the fuck do you still have this mindset?
When you research into the idea of unconscious bias there is a pretty convincing and well supported argument for the existence of 'privilege'.

[editline]3rd December 2014[/editline] RPGs are supposed to be about giving the player the ability to play freely
New South Park intro sucks
You're 17, how the fuck do you still have this mindset?
Takes some people until college/university to grow out of that, and for some, not ever.
Then give the option to do either. Why constrain the player? [editline]3rd December 2014[/editline] RPGs are supposed to be about giving the player the ability to play freely
Then players won't go out and grind for rare weapons if they can just craft them. It's pretty much well known that players will go the fastest and easiest route to get their shit. Which in turn will lead to the player ignoring content not critical to the story.
randumb humor is still funny.
xDD (It isn't.)
~~Humour is subjective~~
Not on my watch. [editline]4th December 2014[/editline] i mean sure it could be but you generally grow out of that humor after primary/middle school

Who cares what people find funny, if something makes them laugh and puts them in a good mood I'm all for it.
hey as long as your not public about it go for it idc
hey as long as your not public about it go for it idc
I'll spread my xD's and me me's around where I please. Also, opinion, GTA V is overhyped and isn't as amazing as people make it out to be.

GTA 5 is pretty good. But goddamn, that was pretty much the only thing people talked about weeks before and weeks after its release
better than anything else that came out in 2013
better than anything else that came out in 2013
Nah m8 Age of Empires II: HD Edition
AOE 2 HD was ehhh, at launch anyway. I had it preordered, but whenever I tried to play it online I would get this horrible lag. Have they fixed that? It was a common problem.
AOE 2 HD was ehhh, at launch anyway. I had it preordered, but whenever I tried to play it online I would get this horrible lag. Have they fixed that? It was a common problem.
everything seems to be fine for me yo
Speaking of AOE, I think AOE 3 is better than AOE 2.
Speaking of AOE, I think AOE 3 is better than AOE 2.
I agree. Home Cities were the bomb, especially being able to have Jack the Ripper run around London.
