When I mentioned "weird ass rules" I meant stuff more like "I before E", where there are more exceptions to the rule then there is the rule.
everyone on here seems to love being fucking freezing but I cannot stand cold weather
80-90F is hot but manageable with fluids and proper sun protection
75F is the master race of temperature
anything below 60F is unpleasant and can fuck right off, thank you very much
I'm skinny as fuck and I hate having to bury myself in layers that still don't even cover me completely just to avoid shaking uncontrollably for half of the year
Blood Meridian has some of the worst sentence structure and grammar I've ever seen. It's full of run on sentences (and I mean, the entire book may as well be a single, unbelievably long run on sentence), the narration is not obviously separate from the dialogue. The attention to detail in most scenes is very thorough and imaginative, but god damn, I remember reading through a scene and being halfway through a section of dialogue before wondering why the environment was talking to itself.
But it's a really good book.
Blood Meridian is an exhausting read but I love the style it has, the whole thing's a fucking nightmare of nihilism and murder and evil and its complete lack of grammar and coherence in its form really adds to that imo. My favourite book.
I often read this comment that singleplayer games don't need to be balanced, it's absolute nonsense.
I don't get the appeal of the binding of isaac. It's just a notch above flash game quality, has horrible humour and is edgy as fuck, and has many gameplay flaws.

Personally I thought Super Meat Boy was a far superior game gameplay-wise. I actually enjoyed that one very thoroughly.
I wish there was a better explanation for the immortal Walking Dead zombies
I always feel that enemies aim straight towards you and not anyone else in any campaign of Call of Duty. Maybe I'm not paying attention correctly.
Well, you're the one with a camera in your face. Why wouldn't they shoot at such a frightening thing?

My god, playing through Call of Duty: World at War on Veteran was a pain. I remember getting to the later parts of the game and whenever you fight against the Germans they always seem to throw the most grenades at you. AI Team Mates besides the story important ones never really used to die because the enemy would be throwing a shit ton of grenades at you.
I was kind of happy when Veteran Mode was tuned down and enemies didn't respawn, nor did they throw as many grenades in Modern Warfare 2.

You and everyone else below the Mason-Dixon line needs to toughen up for the winter weather. Bunch of pansies, all of you. Two inches of snowfall and you go into a state of emergency. Two inches of snowfall up here and not even the schools close down. No wonder we won the Civil War.

All good things eventually become a cash cow and I hate it.

One example is Assassin's Creed, I used to love the hell out of it but now you can definitely see where it's going now :v:

ass creed always had problems though, the first game was extremely repetitive, and every game after the second was a yearly rehash.

i think good things eventually becoming bad is just a fact of life

yeah when I replay the first game it's like near impossible to do anythin. I think they improved a lot of aspects in the second, and Brotherhood was really fun because they introduced online competitive stuff. But after that it's all just copy pasted shit, rehashed from Ezio and Altair's animations especially
Black Flag is the best AssCreed game, imo.
It's certainly the one with the prettiest environments.
I, frankly, think depression is a weakness. Nearly everyone I've known that claims they suffered from it, to whichever degree, end up either finding themselves to be perfectly fine, or they continue to tell compulsive lies about it in order to seek attention.

lmao, this is amazing
Depression is as real as it gets broham, imagine empty days stretching into empty nights where nothing seems to be going right, your food tastes like ashes, you ignore your own body because it isn't worth the effort to take care of yourself, and this is just to start with.
And as for compulsive lies, that's for a physician or a psychiatrist to speak of. We have ways of diagnosing malingering. That's not up to laymen to decide.
Also, empirically speaking, people do claim to be depressed for the sake of attention, but to say that depression itself is a weakness for those who're really suffering from it kind of cheapens it out.

Mental illness isn't rational. And it's loathable sacks of putrid shit with opinions like that that contribute to the inability of people to get the support they require.

The people you knew that had depression must've been faking it or just had general days where they felt down and called it depressed.
[editline]9th December 2014[/editline]
but on a related note, I can't stand being around depressed people at all. I feel sorry for them but damn I am not the person to be around if they're depressed or have some sort of mental illness.

I hate it when people say shit like this
"I don't like your opinion never have any opinions again"
it's the written equivalent of "LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU"

Yeah, while I agree that guy is completely wrong about Depression, I don't think responding with "lol never post again" is the right response.

In any other context I would agree, but that guy's opinion is so disgusting and ignorant that I can't help but agree with mikey.
