Jacking up your prices in a niche market is really offputting to me.
Command: Air/Naval looks like a fan-fuckin'-tastic Wargame to end all Wargames.
It's $80 fucking dollars.
I haven't the slightest idea why people are/were excited for the Nvidia Shield.
idk dude, it's kind of an inherently retarded anti consumer system. it existed in 2004 when i pre-ordered half life 2 because the item was a real box with a real disc inside it. if you pre-order an infinitely replicatable digital download for a shiny trinket with no knowledge as to whether a game will be good then i am not sure what to call you, but it wouldn't be 'a guy who ought to have full control of their finances'
It depends. TB had a good idea, only preorder a game if you knew you were going to get it anyway. I preordered Dark Souls 2 because I loved the first one (300 hours in a few months), and was eager to play it whether it was shit or not

as long as you know that sets back everybody around you in a very small way (which incrementally adds up when lots of people do this) then alright
Resident Evil Outbreak is arguably the best game in the series aside from 4.
I bought Outbreak years and years ago but I never got around to play it because that style of control scares me as much as the zombies and shit. From what I read it had some pretty cool monsters in that and outbreak 2.
I didn't dislike the library level of Halo: CE, even when I first got the original game.
The Turok franchise could be more fun than the Doom franchise if done right. Unfortunately, nobody has.
Warband scene editor > gmod for building cool forts, cities etc

Yeah, I've only preordered games I was planning on getting, and I haven't regretted it.
I don't much care for Metal Gear Solid. I appreciate what it did for gaming, especially when it came out, but I have never found it fun.
None of them.
MGS really is my almost favorite series but I have always hated the controls. I have considered dropping MGS multiple times just because of this. It makes me so mad that it's the only reason why MGS1 was so difficult for me.
And I play Armored Core, using every button at very fucking second.
MGS4 is my least favourite so far for fucking up so much lore but it's the only one with a comfortable button-layout.

said this before in the MGS thread but I gotta say that while I also hated the controls at first, they really grew on me. the way they utilize the pressure-sensitive buttons + how certain controls change in first person view allow you to perform a wide variety of actions unlike anything else i've seen in a console game.
i mean shit there's 12 ways you can position yourself in a locker that's just insane
[editline]15th December 2014[/editline]
although I will say performing some actions near walls (trying to change your stance for instance) can be frustrating no matter how good you are with the controls
Yea agreed, there's a lil bit of a learning curve on getting comfortable with the metal gear games but now I think MGS3 has the best gameplay I've ever seen
I think HL2 is a mostly boring and unsatisfying game to play and is inferior to HL1 in nearly every way.
I'm still traumatized by the pistol going from BANG BANG BANG to paf paf paf
Finally someone who agrees with me about HL2.

I like Half Life 2 but I love Half Life 1 a million times more
Half Life 2 has so many sections that drag on just a bit too long, like that fucking boat section
also yeah, that pip pip pip pip *limp flop* shit is the worst, I think HL2's pistol might honestly be the most weak, unsatisfying feeling weapon I've ever seen in a game
First season of American Horror Story is so much better than any of the other seasons.
It was just creepier, and more confusing and shocking every episode and then they reel it in really well at the end. I was on the edge of my seat the whole season.
I just finished Final Fantasy 7.
It's was the most boring and confusing game, I had ever played.

People already in general hate handguns enough. at the very least game developers aught to make them have a good feel.
Drake is the best emo band of the 21st century
Drake can be sensitive but I wouldn't describe him as emo.
Drake is actually a really good rapper, there's my unpopular opinion
I don't really think Drake is bad but I have trouble finding consistency in songs I like from him. The only ones I've ever been keen on are Hold On We're Going Home, Pound Cake and I'm On One (if that even counts.)

The shotgun in Half Life 2 is way better than the shotgun in Half Life 1. The sound is good but the enemies don't react to being shot with it and it has weirdly slow animations.

HIMYM is 1,000,000 times better than Friends.
HIMYM is 1,000,000 times better than Friends.
i disagree so much that i called it dumb.
HIMYM is literally the pinnacle of boredom. Friends is LEGENDARY
how i met your mother and friends both suck and are pretty much on par with big bang theory on terms of cheap "comedy"
also how can they so freely walk into each other's houses without knocking? do hey give each other keys or just leave the door unlocked?
TF2 isn't as doomed as people say it is because of the End of The Line Update, EOTL itself also isn't the worst update ever.

as someone who hadnt seen a full episode of either show until about a year ago i disagree. i wont get too much into it but friends is much smarter than how i met your mother when it comes to pretty much everything. more charismatic characters and wittier jokes, while how i met your mother's humor is a bit crude at times and they have way too many running gags that are mostly used in the exact same situations, with no attention to contextual humor (i dont even know if that's what it's called but hopefully you'll understand).
not to mention, i never got why they're even friends in HIMYM, almost everyone in the group is just a straight up asshole from time to time
Who keeps their door locked when they are home?
Most people I think? At least in the USA most people do. People are, in general, paranoid as fuck in the USA.
Now that I think of it actually I can't really think of much of a reason why doors should be locked when at home. Robberies usually happen when nobody is home. And if somebody wanted to get in that badly while you're at home they could always break a window.

This isn't true for most places. A surprising amount of people in rural areas rarely lock their doors even when they're not home and I don't know anyone who locks the door if they're home unless they're going to bed.
GoT is good, but it's not fanfuckin'tastick. There's some areas where it falls flat, and where it really excels are the drawn out dialogue scenes, not the battle ones
Nothing wrong with having a colorful little pony as an avatar. Or room decoration. Or mastabatory aid
I know how much you hate pone, so bring me ALL the boxes!

There isn't really.
The problem arises when those who do wank to cartoon horses feel the need to tell people about it.
