B:I was far more immersive than Bioshock imo.
I far prefer color and contrast and the 1910s to water, darkness, and the 1950s/60s.
but thats just me.
Infinite was good, but it was just good. I liked it but I can't agree with people that said it was the best game that year or the best in the series.
Really my main fault with the game is that it just felt shallow. Worshipping the founding fathers disappeared from the story after the first hour, the racism was only explored to a skin-deep degree, songbird was a plot device and nothing more, Daisy just skyrockets to mustache-twirling villain in a blink... there was a lot of interesting stuff but none of it got enough time in the spotlight to justify themselves.
That and the pacing was very off, the combat and weapons/plasmids were scaled back, and the levels were too linear. That said, execution aside, as a concept, I loved the setting the plot and some of the characters were really well done (namely Elizabeth, Booker, Comstock and the especially the Luteces, the rest could have used a lot more to them).
Its a very solidly average game and I'd say thats why it disappointed so badly. It had too much hype around it and too strong a pedigree to live up to.
also the twist was crap
Infinite was straight up fuckin bad if you ask me what a shitty game
I agree with the second part of your post but disagree with the first.
Bioshock: Infinite is the most overrated game of this generation by far, people were treating it like it was the second coming of Jesus or something, when in reality it was a step backwards from Bioshock 1 in every way, the gunplay was even worse somehow, the plasmids were completely gutted, the world wasn't even half as immersive, the level design got worse the further you got into the game, and the story just pales in comparison the original, it's literally just another hero-saves-princess routine except with a few details changed and a bunch of time-travel alternate dimension bullshit thrown in.
P.S. Also a lot of the boss battles were mind-numblingly boring and long, especially on higher difficulties.
Bioshock 1 isn't even that great to begin with. It has a good setting and atmosphere but yeah the gunplay is bad and you're always fighting the same enemies who become increasingly bullet-spongy.
Burial at Sea DLC for Bioshock: Infinite is the worst dlc of all time. It was so stupidly put together that it's offensive to even couple it with Bioshock. You know it's bad when Ken Levine himself said that nobody had to accept it as canon. Good riddance.
[sp]Vita chamber theory, boyo[/sp]
Burial at Sea 1 was better then the base game, if only because this time around they allowed you to carry more then 2 weapons at a time
Don't talk shit about Burial at Sea 2 though
If they were to make a Duke Nukem reboot, it should begin with the character's reputation ruined. It should have him a laughing stock at the start of the game (best sequel possible for DNF) and allow him regain it by saving the world from robots/aliens/whatever. Bring back the Karma system from Shadow Warrior 2013, but call it "Prestige" or something.

I actually really like this idea :v:
I don't like that kind of min that 90% of toothpastes seem to have, and a bunch of candies and gum.
The kind that makes eating apples and drinking water difficult

And on that note I swear I am the only person that likes the taste of apples after brushing my teeth.
I think Bioshock Infinite was ok, but it is the worst bioshock game and I can't really replay it like I can with Bioshock 1 and 2
Don't know how people can say Infinite is the worst BioShock game when there is BioShock 2 out there.
What a turd.
[editline]26th December 2014[/editline]
Usually I can finish a game even if it's not the greatest, but BioShock 2 is just god damn uninteresting compared to the first one.
And all the weapons feel like shit to use, I was looking forward to using the railgun, then it turns out it feels like I'm shooting a toy.

Who do you think should helm the project?

Bioshock 2 is a goddamn masterpiece compared to the shitshow that was Infinite
Shit characters, shit gameplay, incredibly shit story, the game is just fucking garbage, and it's made worse by how it thinks it's all smart about it and that the story isn't a steaming pile of ass
Bioshock 2 is the best Bioshock [sp]I love them all but Bioshock 2 is my babby[/sp]
Each of the BioShock games have their own different merits, strengths, and weaknesses, and it's because of those things that I can't pick a favorite. But it's definitely a toss-up between BS1 and Infinite. BS2's story falls pretty flat for me and Sofia Lamb is a very uninteresting, non-threatening antagonist compared to the likes of Andrew Ryan, Frank Fontaine, or Zachary Comstock.
I thought Sofia Lamb was a great antagonist; the writers did a great job making her extremely manipulative and unlikable. I love villains like that.

She's manipulative, but she was incredibly obvious and predictable about it. Ryan, Fontaine, and Comstock felt like kings of massive empires who had legions of undying, unyielding, brainwashed followers. Lamb felt more like the duchess of a weak, dilapidated, abandoned castle who only had minions because they didn't have anybody else to lead them.
Sophia Lamb was boring af
I do think Frank Fontaine is the best villain out of the whole bioshock franchise though. He's got to be my favorite villain period if not in my top five favorite villains list.
I don't understand the popularity behind Hotline Miami. It's just another game where you go around and riddle people with bullets but with bad graphics.

I couldn't stand the edgy "story" or the "conspiracy" of it. It was just Stick Arena but in paid format.
Sophia Lamb was boring af
I hated Lamb in Bioshock 2. Not in the good way, that you'd desire for a good villain either, just I downright hated her and got annoyed whenever I had to hear or see her. Weakest aspect of the game imo
Half life 2 is an overrated series and the game aged bad.

It also had bad moral choices. "You evil asshole! How could you kill Alexander? Sure there's a recording of him specifically ordering you to kill him if he ever gets like this, and he's become a psychotic madman, but you killed him!" "Wow what a saint. You're such a good guy for not needlessly murdering the woman who took care of Eleanor when she was a child. How heroic of you."
I don't like Bioshock, The Last of Us, Battlefield 4's campaing, The Elder Scrolls (any), Halo (any), Gears of War (any), Half Life.
Many people fell in love with those games, but not me.
In fact, plenty of games I like get low scores by reviews :v:
Whoa whoa whoa...
People liked BF4's campaign?

I liked this game.
It was by no means perfect, not even close. But it had a certain charm to it and I like the design for the super soldiers.
Playing splitscreen mp against the bots with my friend was especially fun though.
I prefer AMD over Intel for non-mobile devices (like desktop PCs).
I don't like racing games
I think GTA V is crap
I think The Sims 4 is actually better with non-open world
I think Assassins Creed series are shit
I think Dota2 is better than LoL
I think Final Fantasy series are better than Zelda
