Probably the third time I've said this but I enjoyed Brink and I'm really sick of seeing people bring it up whenever the words Splash Damage are mentioned. It wasn't even a bad game. People were just pissed off that the parkour system wasn't all they had dreamed it to be and so they started saying the game was shit.
Fantasy is often a bit more stale than sci fi, but I still prefer it. The best kind of sci-fi imo is the kind that lets go of logic and pretty much just goes "this happens because... uh.. science" rather than constraining itself.
tbh that is just fantasy dressed externally as sci-fi, so i think you may just be a fantasy fan overall [editline]7th January 2015[/editline] like how mass effect is basically LOTR in space

Chivalry is a lot more fun without the Vanguard involved.
Chivalry is a lot more fun without the Vanguard involved.
Vanguard would be a hell of a lot less broken if they would fix his goddamn swords
I like to assume the world is simpler than we seem and feel that people overall have a tendency to believe more in the complex than the simple. now listen here you little shit everyone knows the only good elf is a dead elf. The only fantasy creature anyone should give a damn about is dwarves, and I'm not talking about those poser TES "dwarves" called 'dwemer', either. I'm talkin about real, hardy, beer-guzzling, axe-swinging, short, dwarves. With a beard. On the females, too. elves are stuck-up hippies, they need some dwarven steel right in the face to cheer em up
hallelujah brother
Take that, ya wood-loving pointy eared weirdos.
Dunmer will always be the coolest elves.
Drow are the best elves hands down.
gay elf and dwarf talk what the fuck is this the hotter the curry the better it is, I want my anus to look like the flag of japan the day after a curry, not the french flag of surrender.
Tolkien created elves as we know them today. Before they were just pixies in tights.
aww I thought 300 had the one of the most badass endings in the world. Right when they reveal the huge army of Spartans... hnnnnngh
I will admit that the ending was the best part. Everything else, not really worth the money I didn't pay to see it.
i think neutral milk hotel are massivly overhyped, and the only song that i like at all was The King of Carrot Flowers Pts. Two & Three, the rest of them are kinda naff imo

[editline]7th January 2015[/editline] NMH is definitely not the best band in the world, but it's hard to believe you only like one song. oh comely is (one of) their most popular songs afaik: [editline]7th January 2015[/editline] colbert also played holland 1945 for his last song on his show. good send off imo
Not sure if anyone else has seen it yet, but... Boyhood is a lame ass movie with nothing significantly interesting about it. The characters are boring, Ethan Hawke's acting couldn't save that movie, and the main character sucks ass. The only somewhat interesting thing about it is that segments of it were filmed year after year. It deserves absolutely no praise whatsoever.

It was 2-hours-and-45ish minutes too long, and pretty much the first half is dull to the point that I had to multi-task just to keep myself from shutting off the film. Also, I think the only part of the film I found not to be annoying were the little life lessons the main character's dad gave him, because I feel a lot of that is something everyone could really benefit from (ex: don't focus on love when you're a teen because people are constantly changing in their teen years).
i havent seen it but i heard it got a lot of flak from critics
It currently has 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. With 252 "Fresh" ratings, and 4 "Rotten" ratings. Doesn't really look like my type of movie, but it seems far from having gotten a lot of flak from critics. Quite the opposite really.

(It doesn't happen all the time, but it does tend to happen to some pretty good films. But whatever, to each his own.)

It's not really their fault the majority of critics, and yourself, disagree a lot.
I believe that Rotten Tomatoes is not a valid source at all when it comes to reviews. I feel the films they rate highly are not as good as they make out to be and its more of a mainstream voting system.
Fish and chips from any chip shop are complete shit, I'd rather batter my own fish and make my own chips.
My local chipshop does the nicest chips and triple cheese burger. I always feel so full after it but it tastey as shit. I find that chip shops in local towns are a lot better than city center chip shops.
How about this Fish and chips are actually pretty bad, though this may be a regional thing because they use different fish depending on the country. New Zealand uses snapper or hoki which are complete low-tier fish. Chips are average at best but I'll eat them if tomato sauce is present. Another opinion that I don't know how unpopular it is; salmon and tuna are great, even if they're tinned.
Fish and chips from any chip shop are complete shit, I'd rather batter my own fish and make my own chips.
Yes and No. Go to any chip shop near the shoreline where the fish is caught fresh that day then battered, fried then served up and you'll take that statement back for sure.
