thank god! that's a load off my mind!
btw dude what are the lotto numbers for the next jackpot? also could you warn us of any wars or terrorist attacks?
So I feel like this is definitely an unpopular opinion here on Facepunch, but I don't really feel like human life is the most ultra mega important valuable thing ever. While I strongly don't like capital punishment and all that shit, I also don't mind if certain people turn up dead and I definitely don't give a shit about the lives of people who for instance, break in to homes. If a dude breaks in to your house, I don't give a shit, shoot the motherfucker, hell, kill the fuck with a battle axe, I don't care.
Note that this is not really an unpopular opinion at all in real life, but here on FP people treat you like you're a god damn psycho if you don't think the lives of shitheads are super mega important.
The internet is not a hostile and evil place if you know how to handle it.
new ford is a piece of shit
Dota 2 is really hard to play.
Most of the opinions in here are actually really popular
This is a totally new post in this thread of over 400 pages that has never been posted before repeatedly or anything.
This roughly translates to: "A specific group of people are enjoying themselves in a way I don't like, please make it stop :((("
When it comes to memes and fads on the internet, people should stop investing so much anger into being annoyed by lolcats, rage faces and the like. It was a passing fad, people had their laughs out of it, and now a younger generation of internet users have discovered them and they too are enjoying what we once enjoyed. If you see it, just skip over it, move on, stop getting so mad because it managed to pass into your line of sight.
I don't understand what's so difficult about just ignoring shit like that. It's not harming anything so who cares? If you care so much about what others are interested in that you legitimately get angry over it you need to take a step back and rethink your life. It's like people who get mad over people liking MLP even when they're not being annoying about it (Ie: simply having an avatar related to the show which is funny in itself when knowing the avatar is related to the show requires quite a bit of knowledge about the show in the first place) and people still start frothing at the mouth over it. Though that specific occurrence, seems to happen less frequently now at least.
Just look for the posts that are rated with a bunch of dumbs, there you have the true unpopular opinions :v;
Posts that are rated dumb here are generally either very controversial opinions, flat out wrong (with anyone explaining why usually being ignored), or someone getting a bad attitude over something. If you go back and reread the thread you'll actually find quite a few legitimately unpopular opinions that people have accepted.
Too many people think we'll be able to colonise space - we won't. 99% of the human population will remain on this planet until we go extinct within the next few millions years.
I think it might happen in a very long time, when the death of our sun or another catastrophe causes the Earth to become inhospitable (if the human race still exists by then).
But I don't understand people who fantasise about colonising Mars. It's a completely barren desert, what's the point in colonising it?
Dota 2 is really hard to play.
That's not an opinion. It's a fact.
My own, I like driving at night more than the day. You can see people coming from an insane distance away, there are less drivers, it's just an overall more relaxing drive for me.
During the day it feels like constant assholery, traffic, and idiots.
new ford is a piece of shit
I dunno, they have been improving. the were pretty much awful at the start of the 2000s but are alright now
I liked "The Doom Generation" more than "Totally Fucked Up".

It's not an unpopular opinion IRL for you because you live in the US where it's commonplace to have this state of mind. In Europe you're not supposed to kill people who aren't threatening your own life, and shooting someone to shreds with no warning because he wanted to steal your TV goes a long way to depict Americans as ultramaterialistic assholes. Wanting someone dead because they committed atrocious acts is one thing, killing someone because they violated property rights is another.
I think the major issue I have with the "eye for an eye" mindset is that it assumes that anyone who commits a crime of any kind is just some sort of amoral monster who deserves what's coming, instead of being another human being just like anyone else. Their reasons for doing what they did might be a lot more morally ambiguous than you think.

Well it's not an exactly difficult conclusion to make. When people colonized America or Australia, it wasn't like everybody left. Almost everybody else stayed in Europe.
People who fantasize about colonizing space fail to realise that very few people are actually going to be leaving.
Nintendo's Hardware has shit build quality.
Gamecube and 3ds especially.
That would be a fact not an opinion. And it's wrong anyways so it's not even a fact.
I hate Borderland series after release of Borderlands 2.
I've always hated the Borderlands series. :v:
Yea me too, they're not fun to play since it's just clunky gunplay, too much open space (leading to lots of nothing in the gameplay), fetch quests, grinding, its gimmick of "infinite stuff" is a detriment, and all the dialogue is shitty 13 year old kid humour and memes.
Final Fantasy should be involved with the Namco X series.
The original DS looked like it would break if you blew on it (Hinges for fucks sake who designed this) but besides its shit hinges and piss bottom screen it was actually pretty strong.
DS Lite would fall apart. Random pieces around the hinge area would just crack and shit
The DSi however is pretty on point. The only problem is when I turn my DSi sideways and the pen manages to fall out. Every single fucking time.
Gamecube was solid tho. Didn't really have any problems with it
I would agree on the original DS, the hinges on that had issues. The DS Lite was just fine though. The only times I've ever personally heard of issues was always the hinge from dropping it on its side or the L/R buttons from keeping it in your pocket too much. I've had my DS Lite since August of 2008 and it has seen extremely heavy use in that time. Despite all that I've put it through the only issue it has is that the L button is starting to wear out. Can't speak for the DSi because I don't have one and have actually never even seen on though. (Oddly enough the L button has actually seen very heavy use compared to the average DS Lite because it's the backdash button in one of the games I played the most on it which I used constantly.)
I really don't see the complaint on the 3ds though. The original 3ds had a small enough upper screen that the thumbstick wasn't even lined up with it at all and while the XL is lined up right, there's plenty of space between it and the part of the upper screen that it lines up with. The only way that it would touch is if you're specifically pressing on it. And the Gamecube one just seems a bit weird too me. My best friend has had his Gamecube since the day it released and that thing has taken a tumble down a flight of stairs and still works.
I will agree that on the handheld side of things at least, they are somewhat less durable than the older Gameboys and such though. But that's due to the hinges. Everything since the GBA SP has had that issues to varying degrees but in my experience the original NDS and the GBA SP were the only ones where the hinges were actually lacking.

BL2 is far better than BL1 though
BL2 is far better than BL1 though
Well, my main gripe with BL2 is that it feels as if you're being punished for playing singleplayer.
