Why? Some people just want to build without having to worry about wasting time grinding for resources or killing enemies.
Because the "point" of the game is to mine and craft and collect resources not build necessarily. To me when people play in creative mode it just feels like they are taking the funnest part out of the game in my opinion.
P.S. you could just play on Peaceful

He's posting it as many times as possible in hopes of getting filtered onto the NSA's extermination list.

First off it's obviously part of the point of the game seeing as it's an official mode in the game. And secondly, what is fun for you isn't necessarily fun for others. I don't even play Minecraft at all anymore but when I still did I always used one of those inventory hacks (this was before they put creative mode back into the game) because I didn't care about the grinding and fighting enemies. To me that part of the game was just boring and repetitive, not even remotely fun. It's fine that you think otherwise but you shouldn't think something like "I have no respect for people who play on creative" because that honestly makes you look kinda dumb and elitist.

I totally know what you mean, I probably could of phrased both of those posts better.
Kickstarter is used too often and in a bad way:
Sometimes it's not even needed for a project, because the initiators already have the funds available but want to exploit unknowing donors (why take our own funds when we can take it from others?),
the initiators usually ask for an unneeded amount of funds, hiring people to do work they could've done themselves,
they allow excess money to go through, ending up with thousands to millions of pocket money for the lucky peeps who 'helped develop the project' and
they sometimes refuse to implement some of the most basic features (cross-platform support for example) if they do not get excess funds.
Good things can come from crowd funding like purchasing software development kits that cost more than the developer can afford, but when he gets one million dollars to purchase that thousand dollar development kit it turns into an unethical practice.
Most (indie) games did not need a $100,000+ budget before Kickstarter appeared, but now that they have the opportunity to squeeze money out of people in return for a product they would've made anyway, it's hard to not give it at least a try. Even if it fails the product will still be made, just not with some extra cash for the developers.
Dark Souls is one of the worst games i have ever played, based only off without a doubt the worst PC port in Gaming.
Also, Tv is terrible.
I have no respect for people who build in creative mode in Minecraft.
He thinks Minecraft started as survival.
He thinks Minecraft started as survival.
No I don't, I just think it is the primary Game mode.
No I don't, I just think it is the primary Game mode.
You do have a point here, creative has seen little to no development since survival was even implemented and survival has definitely been the focus. But that doesn't mean creative mode isn't still a part of it, not the main focus of development perhaps but it's still a pretty big part of it, and for some people the whole reason they play.
Honestly, I would not oppose a mandatory national/global DNA database.
I want a remake of Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2 with more modern themes and gameplay.
Even before the leak, I always assumed the NSA were doing what they're doing. Honestly I don't really care. I don't have anything to hide. There's millions of others out there who also have nothing to worry about. It's also a good way to protect us and has probably done more good than harm. I know it's an invasion of privacy, but people seem to be overeacting a fair bit.
Rather than remaking FFVII with the same outdated gameplay, perhaps it would be smarter to make an action-RPG that tells the same story

I'll agree people are overreacting. I think justifying the invasion of privacy is a bit more questionable, but the whole thing was very overblown. There's at least a dozen corporations that buy and sell access to all your "private" information, not to mention the majority of what the NSA "took" was publicly available.

I think at this point they can't make a FFVII remake without fucking up everything: Or they change everything and mix the whole Dirge, AC and Crisis core lore into the game with new gameplay or they just make the same game but with just hd and some bug patchs.
Aside for that, I think the rpg gameplay of old games is no where near outdated. That fucking word piss me off a shitload. The problem is most rpgs of the last years have taken a more mmo path instead of the clasic rpg elements.
I find transgenderism to be completely fucked up and unnatural.
This whole Rust thing is just hilarious and embarrassing to everyone else on the forums

Is that really an unpopular opinion?

Probably not but i wouldn't say that in the Rust subforum

It isn't unpopular if it is only one place you will be shunned for saying it.

I half-agree with you, but I don't think you get it. It's not really something that's fucked up, it isn't like a disease or a disorder.
I don't think that you, I, or anybody else who would ever read this actually knows what it feels like to truly believe there is something intrinsically wrong with how you were built.

I think my explanation was probably a little...off.
I was actually talking full-blown sex change operations as part of transgenderism. I find it fucked up because someone would be, for all intents and purposes, willing to self mutilate to achieve what is purely a cosmetic change. I also find this to be highly unnatural and completely futile. They can feel like they are the opposite gender trapped inside their current body, but the fact remains that there is no changing what they are. Even if they change their gender and take hormones, these changes are purely cosmetic because on the genetic level, they are still their original gender.
To put my views on it in the simplest possible form, I find it shallow and disturbing.
That said, I absolutely do not understand what it feels like to "truly believe there is something intrinsically wrong with how you were built". This may stem from my belief that the build a person has when they were born is what is normal.
It used to, but transgenderism as a whole does not really bother me at all anymore.
However, I would absolutely not be a part of a romantic/sexual relationship with one. I also think it would bother the hell out of me if my significant other revealed they used to be a man.
unnatural.
There is nothing wrong with being unnatural. Most of my favorite stuff is unnatural.
White people should be allowed to be proud of themselves.
"White people" are not a thing, it's a made up similarity. Skin color is not a common heritage.
Every European culture had a different language, different customs, different religions (sometimes), different art, different engineering, and most of the time hated each other with a passion.
African americans have a common heritage because they were forcibly removed from the coastal areas of Africa, and much of their own society was segregated from European colonists so they developed their own unique culture alongside the standard colonial culture. That's their common heritage. Simply being a white American does not give you some common background to be proud of, it's just a skin color.
(I know it's an old post, I just hate this sentiment)

Ah, okay. I see what you were saying now.
I believe Scott Pilgrim fucking sucks and you should feel bad for liking it.
There are no good comediennes.

Allthough it is all scripted, professional wrestling is enjoyable.
