this shit is fucking disgusting.
the only people who find the skullgirls dev team's requirements for money appalling are people who don't understand how game development works

or people who think 2,000 dollars to do as simple a task as putting hitboxes on a character is an absolutely horrendous waste of money.
alternatively, wasting thousands of dollars on hiring someone else to do something that they could do themselves.
if you're saying that the skullgirls dev team requires that much money to cover all of game development, you really need to do some research. plus, last I checked that kickstarter was just to add 1 or more characters to their pre-existing game. totally necessary, right?

"simple task" aha what the fuck do you even know what you're talking about?
you do realize that they have "people" and people need this thing called "money" in order to "live" right. the kickstarter money pays for their wages.
United States commiting war crimes isn't a new thing. Neither is the breaking of the third amendment. We've been doing that shit since the Civil War, Hell, Union soldiers were well known for looting Southern farms. Why do you think Southerners called the forage cap the "Bummer Cap."
I think horse masks are pretty stupid. I see them get posted around Facepunch quite frequently and they're usually showered with winners and funnies. To me it's just kinda confusing to see something as randumb as a guy wearing a horse mask get treated as comedy gold.
There doesn't need to be a minecraft sub-section of forums, all it is, is people bitching about how "bad" the game is, and people trying to get other people to play on there shitty servers
Just discuss transgenderism how you see it, and I'll attempt to comprehend. If there's something I don't understand, I'll ask you to clarify as best as possible. If it's alright with you, after you explain how you view things, I can go into detail with my views and we can discuss further. Provided that's alright with you. After all, understanding of both sides of an argument is the best way to come to a mutual agreement.
Alright, I'll give that a try then. I may wait until after I've slept to do so however. I make a lot less sense when tired and my allergies have been acting up badly lately (worse than they have in years) which has made it quite difficult to concentrate on things for very long.

there was a time when it was needed. its time has more than likely passed.

Yes, it has long passed
I think the whole "indie" crap just fuck up the idea of "pixel art". There is some really good work with pixel art like for example the Castlevania games, Metal slug, King of fighters, etc.
All these games would look even better if they were less pixelated.

excuse me but do you?

how does living off of money support your argument that hitboxes is a hard task? your reply is very strange.
I would imagine that sales from their previous games would easily pay those wages a hell of a lot more than asking for free money online. and even if they did need free money to make a new game, I doubt it takes 150000 USD to pay other people to work in a pre-existing engine that works and has all the resources already available.
and yes, adding hitboxes onto 2d or 3d characters, having done both in various engines, is an incredibly simple task.
The only way america will get better is civil disobedience.
There are a couple of users on this forum who act like complete asshats but because of their high post count and popularity among other users are allowed to stay rather than be banned like they would be if they had under a thousand posts and no notoriety. Typically they post short messages lacking punctuation in which their opinion is presented as fact.

In the real world, they call that tenure
The amount of money and hype generated by Star Citizen's policy of concept art and promises is absurd.
Serious Sam 2 isn't that bad.
The Jurassic Park sequel isn't that bad.

But the third one is shit.
I've never thought Mass Effect was a good series.

There is no such thing as making love, there is only making life!
Valve is the most overrated company out there.
They made some games I love, but they're not the god of the industry that people make them out to be. If they didn't have the name "Half Life" associated with them they'd be criticized a LOT harsher.

I somewhat agree with you but that edit was extremely unnecessary.
- The Source engine (even in its current form) is one of the worst game engines I have ever seen. Any decent company would have dumped it a long time ago. It is ungodly slow, buggy, clunky, and doesn't provide anywhere near the graphical fidelity of modern engines like Unreal 4.
A thing that I really like about the Source Engine is that that things run fine on my not so good computer.
There is no reason why anybody should be fawning over Rust, the game isn't even that compelling and its barely fun
Piracy is only justified if you can't legally acquire the game, like not in your region and never will be.
I think almost all arguments for piracy are stupid. Just because piracy does not mean loss in profit, it does not make you any more entitled to the game.
I like the steam trading cards, and think the program works fine now. Didn't used to though,

Honestly I've never heard anyone justifying piracy and saying they're entitled to free games.

Never go on /v/
I was not disappointed with The Hobbit.
