Portal 2 was better than Portal.
Nintendo killed themselves when they thought motion-control was the way to go, at least with the "non-casual" market.
There's been a non casual market with nintendo?
Joking, of course. It has its moments. I hear fire emblem is intense, but really, that's what I like about nintendo. I can just kinda sit down and play. I don't need to be super engrossed into a game.
I miss wind waker and thousand year door. ;_;
Really unpopular one here
I think the Vita is better than the 3ds
Simply because I'm not fucking 10 years old and I want to play Hotline Miami rather than Mario
I just think if Sony made more games for Vita and dropped the price it would actually take off, right now its just too expensive for what you can get on it right now, I got one for a bargain and its great.
The screen and graphics are leaps and bounds better than anything I've seen nintendo produce on their handhelds; when LittleBigPlanet vita looks almost identical to its console counterpart it really does put the 2005 DS graphics to shame
I agree, the 3ds is lacking in really original content. The mario kart and paper mario games were both really promising, and ended up being severely dull.
That being said, vita still costs a buttload, and like its counterpart, is also lacking in original content. I asked my cousin what exactly the vita had and he replied and said: "The vita has a ton! I mean, it has an uncharted game!"
"Yeah...?"
"end story"
"oh"
Assassin's Creed is milking just as bad as CoD does.

Democrats and Republicans both act like complete douchebags at times
I don't think that Nintendo are a great gaming company and I feel like a large part of the people who keep defending Nintendo are just doing it because they've been playing Nintendo games since childhood.
Racial equality doesn't come from white people trying to be nice to other races. The whole current undercoated subtext is that white people have to do more to bring everyone else up which in itself is implying white people are superior anyway. Who cares. We are all people.
Same thing for people trying to treat autistic people and people with special needs like they're "normal" and that means you think they aren't. That's just how they are and they can't control it. Accept it because trying to pretend they are something else is implying you think they aren't good enough as they are.
I know people here probably won't find these opinions so crazy but society right now has everyone trying to treat everyone like they're each little special snowflakes and everyone gets a reward for trying. I just don't think that it'll pay off down the line when everyone thinks they deserve a reward for doing anything.
People who buy games with always-online DRM should be mocked.
Apparently people disagree with my opinion that Crysis was really boring. I had to force myself to play past the first area and even then I wasn't entertained at all.

There's something magical about throwing chickens at north koreans and gliding on top of sharks.
Unpopular Opinion.
Facepunch is one of the best communities that i've ever seen.
People who say that facepunch is bad are mostly the kind of people that I disliked even before I joined Facepunch.
(I.e: Script Kiddies, Ponyfags, Pubstars, 2cool4u kids, Facebook)
This is the only place where I almost agree with everyone.
People who buy games with always-online DRM should be mocked.
Counter-opinion: People who cry and whine about DRM constantly are the worst, and people who mock others based on what games they want to play are even worse than the "cancerous" people that buy them.

But then if everyone agrees with you then why is this an unpopular opinion
isn't steam considered always-online drm, you have like 90 games on there what are you talking about
a lot of the people who make that stuff are like "always-online drm is okay because steam does it" and you still have to have a connection to use it
it's funny because people usually reply to this by saying that there's an offline mode, which functions just as well as, if not worse than, other always-online DRM systems. hell, ORIGIN and UPLAY have infinitely better offline modes than steam and those are often shunned for being "money grubbing buzzword evil not steam buzzword"
An opinion that I have that isn't unpopular in the world, but I'd assume is unpopular here is my love for top 40 music. I don't have much of it on my iPod but 3 of my 6 radio presets in my car are pop stations. I hated pop music from around 2007 to 2011, but they play a lot more techno and electronic stuff lately, like Zedd, Calvin Harris, and Daft Punk.
This has been going through my head the past week.

I would say the exact opposite. Facepunch is a terrible community. That being said, they are a piece of corn in a sea of shit. Not good, but far better than most other communities.
I think that, when everyone agrees with you, that is the sign of a bad community, because it means it is very one sided. Facepunch is one massive circlejerk. We have no room for other opinions or viewpoints. Basically, to us, Conservatives are all stupid, all conspiracy theories are stupid and/or wrong, Call of Duty is the worst thing since sliced Hitler, Valve is the best thing since the Universe "exploded" and life began, and PC gaming is the best. If you say anything else, you are likely to be bullied and ridiculed until you leave.
We act so high and mighty towards others for being a community comprised mostly of fat, fedora wearing neckbeards. Actually, the fedora thing brings up a good point. There was a time long ago when Facepunch considered fedora's cool, but then the rest of the internet backlashed against them harder than the Bee Jees and suddenly Facepunch hates them.
We like to talk about how "brainwashed" Conservative people are but we conveniently forget that Facepunch jumps on bandwagons like they're fucking Daft Punk on a world tour. One day everybody hates random humor, but the next day the most popular video in the Videos section is all random humor. One day we will be discussing how great a certain game or movie is, and the next day we hate it like it was made by Satan. We change our minds and opinions whenever it is convenient for us (read: whenever we start "losing" an argument) and never stand firm to our principles. We change our minds simply to find something else to hate, to make us feel better about ourselves.
And yes, I acknowledge that I do it too, all the time. In fact, doing it is the only way you can fit in as a poster here.
[editline]ass[/editline]
And before anyone fucking mentions it, don't give me that half-assed "Facepunch is not one community" argument that people whip out in SH. Facepunch has universally streamlined opinions because the aforementioned bullying and ridicule drives out anyone who doesn't agree with our particular viewpoints.
I don't have anything against Origin. I would just never use it because not many Origin-exclusive games actually interest me and I prefer to have all of my games in one place.
sliced Hitler, Valve is the best thing since the Universe "exploded" and life began
Thank you, that first part really made me laugh, lol. Also not everyone here thinks Valve is the best thing ever. There's a number of us who aren't fans of Valve, especially in the last year or so. We're just still in the minority.
Unpopular opinion:
I dislike the phrase "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind".
It's just not accurate. If someone pokes your eye out, and you poke out his, then you each still have 1 eye left. That's not "blind", that's "impaired". Get it right! The phrase should be "an eye for an eye makes the whole world a cyclops". :v:
I don't think that Nintendo are a great gaming company and I feel like a large part of the people who keep defending Nintendo are just doing it because they've been playing Nintendo games since childhood.
As somebody who didn't grow up with Nintendo they are just the least impressive gaming company around and the consoles are just a joke to the competition.
Without the nostalgia they are just boring.
Basically, to us, Conservatives are all stupid,
Well, you see, I'm conservative and I'm a member of Facepunch
argument nullified
all joking aside I think you're onto something there

if I poke your eye, most likely you would poke mine, in which I would poke your other to get "even", then subsequently you would poke mine.
then we'd start ripping eachother apart without being able to see.

If you poke my eye out, I'll poke yours out as retribution and we'll both walk away knowing what'll happen if we don't leave it at that. Plus, we'll get some badass eyepatches.

I'd like to point out that, as a conservative, I view Liberals as brainwashed. In reality, Liberals and Conservatives share the same disdain for the other that makes us practically the same. Their different views are alien to the other, and the devotion to these views paints the other side as brainwashed.
To put it simply, we both suck equally.

Steam isn't always online..? Offline mode. I don't use Origin because of my absolute distrust of EA which is completely justified.
I also mean games that require you to be online to function like recent EA and Blizzard titles.

You need to be online in order to play most of your games on Steam, regardless of if they're online games or not. There's offline mode, but it barely works and you have to set it up beforehand, which is kind of hard to due because you can't really predict when your internet's going to go down for a long time. Even if you manage to set up offline mode correctly, after a week or two Steam conveniently "forgets" your login data and makes you unable to access your games at all. It's fucking pathetic that less popular DRM platforms like Origin and UPlay have offline modes that work way better than Steam's.

To be fair Valve has fixed a lot of the issues with offline mode from what I know. I think it's one of the few things they actually have fixed.

What are you talking about? If I try to log on Steam without a connection it shows 3 options, try again, quit and offline.
Game Grumps became funnier when Dan replaced Jon
I've watched a few episodes of Gamegrumps and can't see the appeal at all. There are literally thousands of two man lets plays on youtube and there are a hell of a lot more that are both funnier and more entertaining.
