Playstation Home is fun
I'm just gonna go out and say that I had waaaaay more fun in Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer than in Bad Company 2 or Battlefield 3. In pretty much every CoD MP game, what determines how much fun you'll have is almost purely how well you're doing, only changing when you have utter assholes on the enemy team doing something incredibly cheap or difficult to fight against or just doing incredibly well and killing everyone everywhere or when you encounter a hacker. In the Battlefield games, I will only have any remote semblance of fun if all of these prerequisites are satisfied: 1. Performance is not dropping due to all the fancy graphix or something else 2. My team doesn't suck 3. My enemies don't suck and are not getting trapped in their spawn 4. The enemy team doesn't have aircraft or tanks with incredibly high level dudes with maxed equipment driving/flying around being indestructible and killing me and everyone else who ever goes into a spot where they could possibly be vulnerable to airstrikes or tank shells 5. I am not getting trapped in the spawn 6. The battle isn't getting bogged down in a single chokepoint with everyone just spamming grenades and rockets into the other side while no progress happens because everyone is just permanently resupplying, healing and reviving on the spot 7. I'm not being a terrible shot at the moment 8. Server doesn't decide that it should kick me out randomly 9. I'm not playing a bad map 10. There are no hackers, exploiters or anyone that is otherwise cheating
Playstation Home is fun
Had a PS3 for a couple years and had no idea it existed
I hate all dogs.
I really dislike sandwich shops, and honestly I find it kind of depressing that those places can stay in business.
No. I am not letting this one go. What the fuck makes you hate sandwich shops so much?
3. My enemies don't suck and are not getting trapped in their spawn 5. I am not getting trapped in the spawn
How in the world does that even happen? :v:
I hate all dogs.
I hate the running around all excited when people come in the house, needing attention and having to be played with or taken outside, licking random shit, barking at random shit. Occasionally I'll meet a chill, well behaved small dog but I still wouldn't own one.
I like GDi
tarantino's movies aren't really anything to write home about e; heck resevoir dogs is just a bunch of guys arguing in a warehouse and then they all kill eachother the end
I think Django Unchained is an incredibly overrated movie. Even if I'm a fan of Quentins work.
The Incredibles is a boring movie. It's excessively overrated.
Immigration from certain countries should be limited.
I think mortal kombat is better then street fighter
No. I am not letting this one go. What the fuck makes you hate sandwich shops so much?
They're just really pointless. Making a sandwich requires absolutely minimal time, money, and effort, I don't get why I should pay someone inflated prices to do it for me. Also where I am at least they're always full of hipsters.

I think that humans are not inherently good. I believe that they are naturally neutral and do things out of their own self interest, whether it be to save face, feel good, or whatever. [editline]19th August 2013[/editline] This belief is one of the reasons I rarely trust anyone to do the right thing.

I disagree with you, a part of what makes us social beings is being able to act in the interest of others. We have long ago passed the primitive stage of evolution where creatures primarily act in self interest. In fact most animals have. In our modern civilization, humans do things that are in the interest of his close family, then his community (friends and locals) and lastly the society he believes in. The order of these may vary depending on individuals, but for most people this is the case. Now if a persons basic, biological needs such as hunger, thirst, sleep, etc aren't met then obviously said person may have a harder time putting the interest of others in front of their own, but even then if the situation is dire it takes a lot, such as survival panic instincts to kick in for someone to sacrifice their friend for their own safety and gain.
I HATE cats. Like seriously I don't understand why people want them as pets, they're awful.

For instance, martyrs willingly martyr themselves because to them, it is the right thing and it feels good to do the right thing. Now, this is subconcious. It may not be their intention to do it because they feel good. They do it because it is the right thing. However, because it is the right thing they feel good. This may not make much sense, but basically, everyone gains some subconscious satisfaction from doing something, otherwise they wouldn't do it. As I mentioned, I believe everyone is inherently neutral. I never said that they stay neutral. There are good people out there, as well as evil people. I don't trust anyone until I find out which side they play for.

If people work this way, in practice this shouldn't make people more selfish than if they were to work in the way I explained. The issue is that we're taking different approaches to the question in hand - you're saying everybody is inherently neutral and eventually go good or evil from your views on what good, evil and neutral is; I am on the other hand saying that everybody is inherently good from their views on what is good, evil and neutral. You're being much more subjective than I am.
Because people on the move needing some quick and convenient food (or they're out and about and they want to chill and rest someplace for a bit) is stupid, right?
No but paying $10 for $2 worth of food that you could make yourself in less time is.
No but paying $10 for $2 worth of food that you could make yourself in less time is.
You sound incredibly silly right now, I don't suppose you carry a portable sandwich making kit with ingredients and all around wherever you go do you? It's not stupid to rather pay an extra 8$ for convenience than to be hungry untill you get home.

If I know them to be good, then I know to trust them. If I don't know whether they are good or evil, then I simply don't trust them, although unlike distrusting evil I will occasionally give them the benefit of the doubt. Basically, I don't trust people because to me, they are neutral until proven good and I don't know what to expect.
Playstation Home is fun
I used to have fun glitching the hell out of that game.

Do you even know what you have to do to make a sandwich? There's almost no tools or utensils required, just ingredients, and if you know you're going to need to eat while you're out: just make one at home before you leave, it takes two minutes and depending on what you put in it won't go bad over a few hours.

The fact that you're also more concerned about complaining about people who are 'hipsters' (hint: this is silly) raises a few eyebrows.
I HATE cats. Like seriously I don't understand why people want them as pets, they're awful.
Barney, you're not an animal person.
