Help -- my ear feels very clogged and I everything sounds muffled.

I suffer from an ear condition that means I'll have to get my ears syringed every few months for the rest of my life.. Sucks. Sounds to me like you have compacted ear wax and you're gonna have to get them syringed. It's painless, just feels odd and doesn't take long.

I have this happen to me very often. Usually for me, if I move my jaw around enough and pull down my earlobe I can get it to either dislodge or pop and it comes back.

Though quite a few times it hasn't come back and I had to get it cleared out by a doctor.

i had this a couple of years ago, i was practically deaf
went to the doctor and got flushed out, didn't help
it fixed itself in a couple of days. wouldn't count on that though

I found that if I have earwax deep in my ear that I can't get out, I just sort of push on the part of the earlobe that could cover the hole over and over. Eventually it unclogs the ear temporarily for periods at a time.

That wont work at all. There is a difference between this and the kind of blocked ears you get from flying/elevated.
