In my Honors US history class, we were talking about when the United States used the atomic bomb on Japan. The teacher was talking about how the bomb would leave the imprints of people/objects on the ground, but he was having some trouble getting the idea across. (Probably because we don't encounter atomic fallout everyday). I decided to offer up the explanation that it looked like the people had disappeared and their shadows were left behind. This girl then asks "Wait. How did a bomb destroy everything but the shadows?" Nobody said anything. It was just a long, depressing silence.

A random guy who was an acquaintance of my friends', he was convincing me that they spoke mysterious Roman language in Ancient Roma. Also, one time my classmate who is a blonde girl once asked our Biology teacher whether leaves would fall off in autumn or spring when she was 14ish (9th grade in Estonia). No, I kid you not, she WAS SERIOUS.

Talking about how people from the Netherlands used black people as slaves: "Why didn't they just paint themselfs white?" Another girl in my school "What's DNA?"

Someone in my class told me that if you don't party and don't do cocaine you aint got a life...

History class: "What's a infantry?" "I thought artillery fired logs." Conversation with a friend: Friend: "You know, you're pretty ignorant." Me: "Do you know what ignorant means?" Friend: "No why?" Me: "Then why did you call me that?" Then the topic gets changed.

A few: I was having a discussion with a random, and he said to me: "Whoever invented lag is an asshole". My school is currently under renovation and classes without rooms have been relocated to trailers and off-site facilites. My Intro to Art class however gathers in a room made to house a pellet burner, in the only completed new wing. A girl in that class believed that all of the walls were painted by robots, and she managed to convince about half of the imbeciles in my class that she was right.

Dumbest person depends on if you mean simply being unintelligent or just ignorant. Right now I cant think of a good example of ignorance. But intelligence: A redneck baby machine I know. Everything she says makes you cringe out of sheer "NO!" followed by high pitched laughing and snorting. Oh, and she is only 19 and insists on spewing out more simply "because they are cute".

One guy I knew from high school thought the country of Nigeria was called "Niggeria". Everyone then egged him on to try and say Niger.

I remember some girl in my Health and Human services course said "I could kiss someone and not get AIDS, I could have sex with them, it only travels through blood" myself, and I'm sure everyone else were totally shocked out how dumb this person was. Will never forget it.
