I have a friend who is a strong believer in reptilians, the Illuminati and Quantum Flapdoodle. People like to make fun of him behind his back and I think it's very childish and cowardly of them, he's a very nice guy and I always defend him. But lately he's had an extreme personality glitch.
Recently he has announced that he is a master at reading people because of how smart he is. I have told him to stop 3 times now but he still believes in himself. I don't have the heart to tell him that he's making a fool out of himself.
His way of reading people is to look for things like: scratching, twitching or just mundane movements. Whenever he sees people do any of these things he says "Ah! You must be nervous, I can tell because I am very good at reading people." So far he has figured out that a lot of people are nervous because that's his only diagnosis.
He also says he has a photographic memory, so I told him to remember all the details of my bank card. He tried, really took a go at it. He shut his eyes and started mumbling numbers, didn't even get half way. He then claimed that he had a different type of photographic memory and since I don't really know much about photographic memory I couldn't really call bullshit on that.
He also likes to project how intelligent he thinks he is, for instance: When we have math class he tends to shut his eyes and pretend to do Abacus. It doesn't really help him, in fact he hits a wall when he does that. I think it's because he's concentrating to much on doing the Abacus finger movements then actually counting.
Once, when I was trying to respectfully explain my atheistic beliefs to a "christian", I told him to check out godisimaginary.com if he wanted to learn more about why I don't believe in god. He said, "HOW DO I KNOW SOME COMPUTER NERD OR SOME SHIT MADE THAT UP?!!"11" I just walked away.
This one girl in our class in health education once raised her hand and asked "What's a vagina?"

I don't understand half of this community, every time I see something about bullying you all unite against it and say how those people are scum. Then a thread like this appears, half of the insults on here are against people who have done nothing to you and you are judging them based on a factor of intelligence rather than as a whole person. Education isn't the best in a lot of areas and even more so just because a person isn't as intelligent as you doesnt make them any lesser of a person or a horrible one. Education is not always the top priority of a person and I would expect a lot of you to have more empathy towards people.
