Capcom keeps fucking up immensely on every turn. They've been getting better tho.
Idk why people seem to hold SNL up to such a high bar every time. It's not really supposed to be the pinnacle of comedic excellence or smth.
Comedy is hard enough when you've had writers writing a perfectly scripted piece with great timing and direction.
They've gotta write a bunch of different stuff every week and perform it all live and pray it gets laughs. Going for the easy jokes most of the time is pretty much a requirement.

I take ppls word for it being good when I was a kid but I was really watching it then so

I haven't watched it often in years but it's not terrible. I pretty much consider it to be the newspaper comics of tv. Not very funny most of the time but sometimes it hits you in the right spot.
Plus tbh I'm also a sucker for when they have hosts that don't usually act or so comedy, those are the best.
There's also a lot of really good content that's come out as a product of it.
It's just weird to me that people seem to expect so much out of the show.

i love how everytime when there are videos about taiwan on youtube,

idk I've laughed at a lot of SNL skits. But yeah the nature of the show makes it have a lot more misses than hits.

I'm starting to notice a direct correlation with my Ethernet dropping out and the heater coming on, since the router is right above it. Guess this means I'm gonna freeze to death just so I can use the Internet.
