you technically arent wrong because unless i'm remembering ballistics incorrectly
the spin of the bullet as it leaves the barrel is what keeps it flying straight, and what makes it tear into skin the way it does. The spin comes from the lining of the barrel and with a longer barrel you'd want more pressure from the gas created by the gunpowder going off to really get the most of the advantages
but i havent studied how guns work in a year because i dont use peashooters i use gatling guns and radars
