If you dont have an idea now on what you want to do you should really get it before joining a military force. That way once you join the military you can pursue a job within the force that fits or relates to your preferred profession.
Don't just idly throw yourself to the wind.

Both games are fun in their own way. KF has a huge cast of weapons and characters. L4D2 has a smaller amount of weapons and characters, but each character has their own personality. The characters in KF only share two voices. One voice for males and one voice for females. There are some special characters with their own unique voices, but those are usually DLC.
L4D2 has better gore than KF, but it feels more satisfying to get a head shot in KF.
L4D2 also requires more teamwork in my opinion. KF on the other hand still requires you to work together, but you don't have to constantly keep an eye on your teammates. Well, that is until you start choosing higher difficulties. Then things start to get more intense.
As for levels, KF has a massive amount while L4D2 has less. In KF it's quantity over quality. L4D2 has better maps in my opinion. L4D2 relies on linear campaigns that require you to complete objectives and circumvent obstacles. KF mostly consists of arenas where you slaughter copious amounts of abominations. Later on though KF did get objective maps that are similar to L4D2, but feel far less frantic.
Now for another game that I feel should be mentioned. KF2, the sequel to KF.
KF2 has some amazing gun play and improves on many of the systems from the first KF. Better guns, gore, and zeds. Characters have their own distinct personalities now as well. The game still has some problems though, but is a great purchase if you can't choose between KF and L4D2. It's a hybrid of sorts with the best parts of KF and L4D2. Just be ready for Hans. He will ruin your day.
Hope this lengthy list helps you out! I own all 3 games and I love all of them.
I'll swear to never drink 3 sachets of coffee in one go.
The effect is so potent, that i still stay awake at 6 AM

Sometimes I wonder what it would take to for utopia. I would think utopia isn't just a place of no war, where everyone is harmony, but everyone is the same in one way, usually through the psychological field. I believe that theoretically, if we were to sacrifice whatever makes us human, we would reach what we call a "utopia". Without emotions, or without diversity, there would be no irrationality in the society, and instead become one unanimous group. Basically, the freedom of a human is the reason why we could never reach this "utopia", where everyone have their own individual right to themselves, and their own individual thoughts. Human rights would, instead, draw us in a full circle of process through the history of the world. Are we willing to sacrifice our own sacred right for the perfect society?

To create a 'perfect society' you'd have to destroy the human condition first, so I'd say no.

I'll also have the benefit of being able to live in Israel once I'm done, currently I can't because I haven't served.
