oh shit i just realized i might not be able to stream vidya games like i would like to
i wanna talk over my games but i'm super insecure about talking over voice online and it will be even more awkward cause i'm even more insecure about my parents hearing me talk online and having to explain to them who i'm talking to
in the rare occasion that i do voice chat online my parents can hear me upstairs and its really awkward to tell them that i was chatting with my friends or talking to complete strangers in a video game. they always ask how i'm talking to them and who they are and its really not cool for me
the only time where i would be alone in the house is tuesdays and wednesdays in the mornings but thats really moot cause, to my knowledge far more people are active later at night and it would make for a better stream to do it later
the problem with that is everyone's home at night and i share a room with my brother, who's usually trying to sleep on the other side of the room
suppose i could always do streams with no voice commentary but thats no fun

I dunno if you wanna just stream for friends or something or actually try to make money off it but let me give you advice

It's to saturated to be a streamer now without being a world record speed runner contender or pro/high rated gamer. It's too saturated of a field and trying to even capitalize on a new game is impossible as big streamers will beat you there. No one watches unestablished variety streamers either. People like Soda poppin had to play nothing but Wow on stream for years before being able to stream anything else.
Streaming priately for friends on occasion is the best you can hope for so I wouldn't put so much thought into it

ya this is why u gotta take advantage of the more isolated corners of twitch
try streaming urself spinning around a bunch and file it under creative as ballet
or try starting a social eating channel, just eat something in front of a camera and be paid by some type of person

there's different sections for non game-related content
idk a lot about twitch but if you go to the list of games there's a section called Creative that's people streaming themselves doing art and stuff but also channels that show old educational shows and stuff it's cool

not sure im still going to through with the whole thing but it is something to think about
i wouldn't go into it thinking im going to make it big quickly, i know it takes a while and a whole lotta luck to make as a big time big boy streamer
the idea was more or less to give me and maybe my friends something to do
best case scenario i get over my insecurities about talking online and become a small time streamer with a small fanbase, worst case scenario i stream like 3 times and never do it again
