It's more that I don't understand why they decided to fall for the biggest con trick in America's history, when we tried to open discussions with Trump supporters during the election process, we tried our best to point out that he wasn't going to keep any of those promises he made, trying to be civil all the while. What we got in return from the side of Trump on FP was "MAGA" and "cuck" and "change" with few valid reasons why you'd pick a snake oil salesman for your president, the most being said was "he's not clinton".
I wish I was a sophomore already so I can have my brother as a roommate. At least by then we'd be in an apartment with separate rooms.

Well, the reason that I voted for him was because of his support for israel, his strong stance against illegal immigration while making it easier to immigrate legally, and I was strongly against clinton's no fly zone over Syria because it seemed to be a recipe for disaster.
I personally think that it's too soon to say if he fulfilled his promises or not, considering he hasnt even become president yet.

The only thing I fear is what kind of policies that sort of administration would take towards immigrants looking into becoming citizens. And how it affects my brother who is still in the process of becoming one. But whenever I bring that up I get no real answers beyond "you fell for the fear mongering", when I've heard that man's rhetoric towards migrants.
But what's done is done. Everyone had their reasons and we can learn from all this.
I think I might be a little bit burned out.
