So I haven't been to the dentist in 4 years due to not having dental insurance. It was always offered by my company, but due to the absurd principal I always opted out. This year I began having pain in my wisdom teeth and opted in last month ($40 a fuckin' week man, ridiculous), then headed straight to the dentist. Two of my wisdom teeth with are unreachable with a toothbrush have decayed to the point they need to be removed, a third has a cavity, and the 4th is just chillin'. The dentist wants to remove all 4 as removing 3 without taking out the last one seems silly and I agree. The procedure is $3200, but with insurance, I have two choices:
- Knock me the fuck out and pay a $590 copay
- Numb me and stay awake and pay a $360 copay
Does anyone have any experience with getting their wisdom teeth removed? Dentists don't scare me, I'm just curious about the experience in general and if it's worth spending $230 extra just to be knocked out.
I didn't know where else to post this and you guys have always been friendly in here so I figured it'd be as good a place as any.

My father was numbed for his procedure and said being ko'd would have been much better.
Apparently some people can still slightly feel it in a non painful way despite being numbed out, so if the thought of that bothers you being unconscious could be worth.
I was sleeped for mine and barely remember anything about it. Just went home and napped right after I think.
I used to be so ignorant with my choice of sticking with Source instead of any other game engine
my brother introduced me to Unreal Engine 4 and I just shrugged it off like "Source is fine, why change?" but then I realized how bothersome Source is with what you get in comparison to other engines

I went to the school canteen and there was Lasagon omg wow.
But it being food from the canteen it was awful :cry:
I'm really just dumbfounded.
I want to make content for other people to enjoy like I'm currently [I]trying[/I] to with Garry's Mod, but there's just no other platform to match GMod.
..[I]heavy[/I] emphasis on "trying" to work with Garry's Mod because everything I try putting together just ends up having significant flaws that I just can't fix, even with help from some of the best.
