Just heard that one of my cousins died from a heroin overdose. The awful part is that while I do feel sad, it's more of a faint sadness. It was fun hanging out with him and his brother playing video games and eating snacks when we were younger, but once their mom/my aunt died I never saw them again. After that, all I heard about the both of them were prison sentences and substance abuse.
Still gonna miss him though.

I felt the same way when my grandfather on my mother's side passed away. I was sad and upset for sure, but since I hadn't seen him in like 10 years at the time of his passing it wasn't as emotional as say when my great grandparents who lived across the street and I saw daily passed away.
well I talked it out with my parents and told them how I feel about the whole "I need to do something my life is going nowhere" situation I'm in and I'm feeling a lot better about it
I didn't get all mushy and depressed when talking about it but I did notice a few times I nearly choked myself up
the current plan is to update my resume and put it in at the grocery store a town over and then see where things go from there
the first step to solving a problem is admitting you have a problem I guess

i found out the reason why i've been feeling like shit the last few days
i caught a virus from my brother and it was killing my appetite and giving me a "you're queasy but you're not going to throw up" feeling
