I hope there's a new trailer that actually explains what's happening in Death Stranding. I get it, it's Kojima, there's a message in there somewhere, but both trailers so far look like messy nonsense. A whole lot of wild and wacky imagery, like something out of a pretentious college film student's big short film debut. But, this won't be my final verdict on it, since the game isn't even out yet. I suck at writing stories, but I like doing it. Currently waiting on the results of a writing contest. Judging was delayed by over a week, but I should hear results soon. I eventually want to start writing books, but I want lots of practice before doing so.

Put that together with what he's already said about the game and it kind of starts coming together. Seems like it's about connections between people, possibly some themes of reincarnation, maybe something about human experimentation with the way both Reedus' character and Del Toro's character had obvious scars on their bodies? It's kind of fun trying to figure out what the game might be about from the trailers. Obviously more info will come out sooner or later and things will be explained better but right now he's getting into the swing of having his own company and showing off his engine and all that.

yeah we can speculate based off the imagery but we wanna see solid story in a trailer [editline]2nd December 2016[/editline] MGS games usually had trailers where you could actually tell what was going on for certain, I think we're still in the teaser phase

speculation is part of the fun with kojima's games though i doubt he's going to keep things all weird and vague forever
