Valkyria chronicles, Dark souls 2, Dragon's dogma off the top of my head
Had to buy spore three times. First time was several years back, with a CD and a registration key. Computer took a shit, lost the CD key. Second time, digital download from Amazon, computer took a shit and died, no transfers.
Third time, so far going strong, digital download again with a spiffy new laptop that probably won't die for about three years or so.
Half Life 2, 5 times. First on the original Xbox, then on the 360 in The Orange Box, then in the 2007 winter bundle (with episode 1 and CSS), and finally as part of The Orange Box (again).
Dragons Dogma, 3 times. 360 on release, I bought DD:Dark Arisen on PS3 when it came out (the shop was selling it for the price of the DLC alone), and again on the PC.
Dragon Age Origins (and all the DLC), 2 times. First on the 360, then the ultimate edition on steam.
Dragon Age Inquisition, 2 times. I bought it on release, then I bought the GOTYE to get the DLC, since it was cheaper to buy everything than to buy just the DLC.
Team Fortress 2, two times. Both as part of The Orange Box.
Dark Souls 2, 3 times. Once on the 360, the regular version and DLC on the PC, and Scholar of the First Sin on the PC. It's my least favourite Souls game and it's the one I've bought the most.
And then tons of old games that I owned years ago on console that I picked up on PC during steam sales.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R Shadow of Chernobyl and Medal of Honor: Allied Assault
I might also have GTA:SA somewhere maybe...?
Halo CE and Dark Souls
World of warcraft, I got hacked back in cata and couldn't recover it.
Metal Gear Solid 3Ps2 normal , ps2 subsistence, ps2 essential collection, ps2 limited edition, xbox normal, xbox subsistence, 360 hd collection, ps3 hd collection, ps3 legacy collection, nintendo 3ds normal, vita hd collection
I like mgs3....
Pretty much every Blizzard game to date....
Or atleast since they started making their collectors editions, got 2 of each, one that's used, and one in its factory seal.
Oh god... ff7, ff8, ff13, silent hill 2, silent hill 3 and finally star ocean the last hope... oh why did I buy that game twice... It's HORRIBLE and for some ungodly reason I have played it through three times...
deus ex (first a hookey copy which barely worked, then a copy from 1 of those £1 bins at stores, then a GOTY copy, then finally a steam copy; before all that the demo and articles in pc gamer got me hooked, swee mudda i wanted that game for years)
farcry 2 (I got the limited edition box set back in the day then got it again on steam)
warcraft III
Red alert II yuris revenege
Command and Conquer generals
Age of mythology
Stalker Games (I got the special boxed sets for those too)
Oblivion
Space empires III
Draken
Silver
Neverwinter knights
Carmageddon
Populous: the beginning
Rise of nations
Dawn of war
Pretty much all the older games I used to play a lot.
dat nostalgia
Megaman Legends 1 and 2
Final Fantasy IX
Megaman Zero
Final Fantasy 12
MGS 1 2 3 4
Majora's Mask, English and Japanese versions of N64, and the remake on 3DS
Ocarina of Time on N64 and 3DS
Final Fantasy I & II on both Wonderswan and GBA
Witcher 1, 2, and 3 on both Steam and physical release
Unreal Tournament 2004 on both Steam and physical release
Final Fantasy XI on both Steam and physical release
Serious Sam 1st and 2nd Encounter on both Steam and physical release
Metal Gear Rising, Red Faction Guerilla, Portal 2 and Bioshock 1 & 2 on both Steam and PS3.
Rust to start a clan.
Dead Space, the original one.
I got a box copy for PC, a copy for Xbox 360, and a copy on Steam.
Pretty much all of the GTA games I own for multiple platforms
NFS:MW(2012) on PC, was bought for me for the PS Vita and Wii U as well
Luftrausers for PC and Vita
NFS:U,U2,Carbon,MW05 for various consoles because win10 is a piece of junk
NFS:HP(2010) for PS3 because I needed something to play on there
edit:
that's a lot of NFS games upon further inspection :v:
I've bought GTA IV at least 7 times.
:snip:
Star Wars Battlefront 2 (The old one), Got it on release, got lost when I moved back to the UK, got it a second time, then got it on steam last year.
Skyrim (360 then PC)
Spore (PC then Steam)
RCT3 (Disk then Steam)
Shattered Union (Disk then Steam)
One of the old fifas, got 2 copies of it.
The Orange Box, Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Portal 2, and Skyrim.
All of them I had because I used to play on the Xbox 360 but I moved to PC and haven't been away since. :buckteeth:
Skyrim, Deus Ex: HR, Metal Gear Rising and Bayonetta on PS3 then PC (good lord did bayo run bad on ps3)
Every nicalis release of cave story. Freeware, WiiWare, DSiWare, 3DS, eshop 3DS, PC, Switch. I'll buy it again if they release any more! There was also an Isaac rebirth release on the 3DS which I pumped a few dozen hours into. I bought the switch once but I've barely played it, too burnt out on isaac...
I also own every US and JP version of every Klonoa game. There's even some bootleg Dreamcast port that I found.
need for speed hot pursuit 2, i played it on pc mostly and at some point heard that the ps2 version had some extra tracks and content that the other versions didn't have. i misinterpreted this as saying that all the console versions had this extra content, and was disappointed after buying the xbox version and realizing it's the exact same game
ssx 3, which i played the hell out of on the original xbox, years later got the desire to play it again, but the disc was pretty scratched and kept giving me read errors so i bought a used copy
need for speed most wanted, possibly 3 times? got the original, then got the black edition later on (both for original xbox, might have actually traded in the standard edition), and years later bought the black edition for pc so i could play it again
burnout 3, somehow lost the original disc even though it's one of my most beloved games, so later on bought the xbox live arcade version
burnout paradise, i brought it to my cousin's house and he had his xbox 360 vertical instead of horizontal. at some point while we were playing it someone accidentally knocked the xbox over and gave the disc the ring scratch of death, so i had to buy it again
fallout 3, because i had the disc version and at some point it was on sale for like $5 so i said fuck it and rebought it on steam for convenience
somewhat similarly, i rebought borderlands 1 while it was on sale since i had the non-steam disc version and the steam version was the goty edition
mirror's edge, had it on xbox 360 and just decided i wanted the pc version
while i haven't bought it yet, i almost certainly will rebuy trackmania united forever soon because i'm getting the nostalgia attacks again. previously i bought the game digitally and the cd key was tied to an account in the game, but since i was a kid at that point i never bothered to tie that account to an email, and whatever password i used for it was something different from all the passwords i remember using around that age, so i can no longer play the game unless i buy it again
Funnily enough, gta4 on PC is waaaaay the inferior version.
i must be in some tiny minority or won the fucking lottery because i've never had a bad experience with gta iv's pc port and it's always run smooth for me
Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield Gold Edition from a friend, that I lent to a buddy and never saw it since. Bought it on Steam afterwards from a sale.
GTA 5, once on PS3 then again on PC. Only have 25 hours on the PC version because I was burned out by the time it released.
No less than 3 copies of CoD4. Bought the PS3 version. Received the 360 version as a gift. Later bought the PC version.
Most of mine are one's I had on console first, or otherwise rebought them on Steam

GTA V, i have two PS3 copies and one PC copy.
Back before the days of digital distribution, I bought Star Wars Galaxies three different times due to losing my account information.
