Bows pretty much being the best weapon in any modern or futuristic shooter that has them. Actually, bows being in futuristic settings in general. Why would you use a bow when you can use a small pistol with a suppressor? It fires so much better, and takes far less skill than a bow. Where did bows in new AAA games even start?
because bows are fucking cool
Sometimes it's literally more convenient to pirate shit than to buy it and get it legitimately, however things like Netflix, Steam and Spotify combat this by making the honest option the most convenient option.
yeah also things like lost CDs, Seeing if the game is actually good because demos are literally non-existant anymore
Fingernails I find pretty odd. I get that it's from hair fused together but why did they develop and not just tougher skin on the fingers or something?
1) When any medium, be it games, movies, TV, literature, or any place on the internet talks down to me condescendingly and tries to give me a lesson in morals relating to current issues. Maybe there's a few exceptions. I could appreciate the odd thread/post/video talking about an injustice but generally its just insanely irritating - I can decide my view on things myself, I don't need an argument for one side or another rammed down my throat 2) When people say they hate X internet/media personality purely based on their content output rather than the quality of their character That just isn't reasonable, its antagonistic and yet everyone and their dog does it, its only recently with threads like the Pewdiepie response to the whole annual salary thing that I saw responses where people acknowledge he is not the sum of his videos Its like, I had to do a double take and wonder if I should put a "I don't watch Pewdiepie" disclaimer here or not, which is pretty damn stupid for me to need to consider - why should you give a fuck?
[del]I like rainy days and cloudy days more than sunny days.[/del] Dammit, confused this for the "unpopular opinions" thread.
Fingernails I find pretty odd. We don't need to scratch things to death anymore, but they help protect the fingers, and they help with gripping things or opening things, and it's easier to modify a current system than to get rid of a system and replace it with something new.

Claws. Forgot about those.
evolution doesn't tend to just throw things out either usually it goes away over the course of several hundred generations

My entire life.
