While moping on the side of the road he looks up and sees the wind blowing through a wheat field and it reminds him of waves on the ocean so he puts his boat in the wheat field and tries to paddle through it. Another driver comes down the road and stops to watch the newfie. He says to him
"Hey mister, where are you from?"
"Newfoundland," the newfie replied. The driver calls back to the newfie
"So am I, and you know what? Its assholes like you that give us a bad name, in fact, if I knew how to swim I'd come out there and kick your ass."
