Yes, twice so far, and I'm about to go in for a third. First time was emergency surgery, so going under was actually quite a relief from the pain. Coming out of it though, I was so high and messed up when I woke up I started panicing because I didn't remember where I was and I couldn't move my limbs right. Second time was okay though, because I remembered what to expect, and mom was there when I woke up.
Not so much a surgery but the hospital considered it one; I have ulcerative colitis, and they had to go in through my butt with a camera and small wand that they used to burn off ulcers inside of my colon and part of my intestines. [editline]06:37PM[/editline] [QUOTE=ababs362;18804427]Yes, twice. Once in December to get part of my lower bowel removed and create an ileostomy. Second surgery to remove the ileostomy and connect it back to my rectum. Worst part of both was needing a foley catheter because for the first 3 days I couldn't get up out of my bed and therefore could not piss. This is a foley catheter for anyone who does not know. [img]http://filesmelt.com/downloader/catheter-drawing.jpg[/img] This thing kept me awake through the night and was extremely painful.[/QUOTE] I'm so sorry. That looks horrible.
Once broke my rib and it shattered inside of my body, and they had to get all the little pieces. Not really, that would suck.
Never had any major surgeries, only had a minor one when I was like 4 [editline]12:41AM[/editline] the doctor placed a small potato sack over my head during the surgery [editline]12:41AM[/editline] ...when i was in china

Oh, lord. Multiple times. 16, I think. Born with Treacher Collins Syndrome. It affects my skull and misshappens it. I had metal plates inserted in my head (hence the name Metalhead) to reshape it and had my eyes moved, afterwards sewn shut. I don't hurt, it's just annoying as fuck. I think I get multiple headaches because of this. Also have hearing loss and affected vision because of it. It sucks, but hating it will only make it worse.
Wisdom teeth, it's pretty hard to eat when you can only open your mouth about an inch. Before that, back sometime before I was a teenager I had surgery for a testicular torsion. Fun...
Broke my arm in 5th grade, needed 3 pins to hold it together. Tore my scrotum in 8th grade, don't want to get into details.
Yes
Wisdom teeth

Yes. Oral.
When I was three I cracked open my chin when falling off a tricycle, my head was like a pinata my mom said.

Yep. when i was 4 or 5 i broke my front teeth on the pavement. I had to get Oral Surgery. Good. thing they were my baby teeth
I had a few broken arms (5) and the first time they did something because the bone was sticking out of my arm. The last time they warned me that I could irreparably break my arm and/or risk amputation :ohdear: Also I once had some sort of cyst on my wrist and I popped it with a pocket knife if that counts. It healed in like 2 days :v:
I cut my right thumb open on a strip of metal that was sticking out for reasons unknown, which severed a tendon. Random bits of sharp metal sticking out SUCK ASS.
I had to get tubes placed in my eardrums when I was 9
Never had surgery but I have been hospitalized for SEVERE asthma. I almost suffocated.
No, but I popped back my dislocated finger Far Cry 2 style before.
Had my tonsils removed when I was three. [editline]12:27AM[/editline] Also, wisdom teeth.
Had my tonsils removed, I also had surgery for my lazy eye and farsightedness. And some other shit I don't remember.
Had to have the middle joint in my right index finger replaced with a metal one. That's surgery, right?
[QUOTE=Zorgoth64;18811595]I had to get tubes placed in my eardrums when I was 9[/QUOTE] I had tubes placed in both ears at birth, had them replaced around every two years due to my ear canals growing, then when I was like 7 I got a nasty infection in my left ear. Had major surgery when I was 7 to remove that infection, like they cut along behind my ear and peeled back the side of my head or something. Then again at 9, but they had better tech then and didn't have to make as big of an incision. On and off since birth I've had surgery probably once every two years on my ears, I now have an artificial Hammer in my left ear. I also have IgA blood disorder that they do lots of bloodwork for, and an inflamed sternum, but they haven't had to work on that thankfully.
My birth. Does that count?
Not yet, but I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed over winter break.
Got my tonsils out and when I was younger I bashed the fuck out of my head and had to drain the blood out of my skull.

ya i broke my clavicle and they had to fix it
I removed a mole once that infected the skin around it. So they had to cut about 3 cm of skin on each side of the mole in a triangular shape.
