Erm.... I've not had anything serious. Just like... I had some laser ops in China for my verrucas and wart. And my birth mole. A 6 week period where I couldn't wash my leg. That was just nasty. And the verruca didn't go away either. It's fucking massive. Like, an inch and a half across. Jesus fuck.
I had my wisdom teeth pulled.
I've had the best luck with health. The worst thing that's ever happened to me was a small size cut from a tree branch, didn't even need stitches. So, no, I've never had surgery.
Yeah. I got a cyst removed from my left arm.
nope
Yeah, I got my adenoids removed as a kid because they caused a lot of infections for me.
Never had surgery per se, but I have had to go to hospital twice.
1. 4 years ago, when I broke my nose.
2. Just last year, when I had almost had meningitis, had to have a blood test (stupid doc couldn't find a vein).
Ears, twice, and prolly sometime soon again.
Nothing much, just a root canal that took a couple visits to the dentist. I bit my tongue quite a few times when going to lunch after these visits.
Doctors had to decrease the size of my penis because it was so big my mom couldn't give birth to me :smug:
Seriously though, I've never had surgery..
Yeah, had this molar removed because it was growing in sideways D:

That is the lamest excuse for having a small penis I've ever heard.

The gates beep, you don't. :downs:
Ontopic: I had 2 wisdom teeth removed, both in separate surgeries.
I had a inguinal hernia when I was a kid, people tell me this shit hurts like all hell and back, but I can't remember jack flying shit about it.
Lets see. . .
When I was young (before you start remembering stuff) I apparently bit open my tongue and had to get stitches.
When I was about 13 I had surgery to remove a baby tooth whose top was level with my gumline, it was slow coming out in the first place, and by then the teeth on either side (adult teeth) of it formed a wedge keeping it from naturally rising.
Last year I had clinic outpatient surgery on my ingrown/infected toenail; the doctor injected my toe with a godawful amount of anesthetic which hurt like a bitch, then clipped the sides of my nails to the root.
6 months later the root grew back and the whole condition came back, so this time I go to a real foot doctor and get the full blown surgery version of what happened before; gas anesthetic to knock me out, clip the nail to the root, kill part of the root we cut, cut away my infection.
Later reading a post either here or on Reddit, I found out it wasn't just an infection but some skin condition where it thinks it needs to heal itself and doesn't know when to stop.
Wish I could remember what it was called. . .
Last year I was going to an eye doctor or something to get my Chalazion removed atop my right eyelid.

Believe me, it was nowhere near as bad as that. However, I had it for four months and it impaired my vision since it drooped my eyelid over my eye. Add that to my left eye doesn't see very well. So, I talk my dad and we decide surgery.
We get to the guy's building some 15 or so miles away from my house, wait there for damn near three hours before we finally get called in. I get put in this room with all kinds of cool looking gadgetry that was never used on me. This woman who looks to be in her mid 30s or so sticks a needle in my right eyelid to numb it before surgery. I already don't like needles very much, but having one stuck right above my eye? Oh god I was so nervous. After she removes the needle it kinda hurts and it's bleeding so she gives me some sort of white thing to hold against my eyelid to keep the blood at bay. After a few minutes of wait, the numbness kicks in.
The doctor comes in, he started talking to me about something, I forgot what about. Then the woman who looks to be in her 30s comes back in to aid him I guess. So we get down to business, he takes this scalpel or something and starts making an incision on my eyelid, now I was really fucking nervous. Sweating because of the nervousness, and shivering because of how fucking cold it was. So then he tells me to look down, my imagination ran wild. I thought "Look down so the scalpel doesn't hit my eyeball?!" I saw glimpses of him fucking up and stabbing my eye with the scalpel apologizing as he did so.
So I finally threw up in the midst of the surgery. Luckily the woman was holding a trashcan for me just in case since I was sweating so much. We stopped right there because the doctor said he had made the incision and the pus already started flowing out anyway. Sure as hell didn't look that way. My eyelid looked WORSE than before, fucking huge ass red dot on my eyelid. Said it would go away in a few weeks, which it did thankfully.

Oh yes, that too. ;)
I've had my adenoids removed, and had a knee-surgery (split my kneecap in half).
i had a frenectomy. it hurt like hell. and i got my tonsils out. and that was good because to got a lot of ice cream. :)
Nope. Broke a limb though, also had some procedure done on my toe to remove an ingrown toe-nail, don't really think it counted as surgery though.

I have metal in my head, yet that doesn't happen to me.
yup, when I was only a baby (around 2-4 years old) I had them do surgery on my Intestines, I still don't know why though...
