I didn't really care for it. The missions I played were decent...nothing really that special, but I thought the general gameplay was just garbage. The cars were no fun to drive, their damage was really weak...the AI sucked, the city just felt extremely bland and lifeless.
Well $30 is good considering it's on steam for $60 and in retail stores for $80
Unless its complete and utter crap, I won't feel too ripped off.

Saints Row 2 had a better selection of activities than GTA IV, but the gameplay itself just feels awkward and kinda cartoony (which was probably intended but I don't like it), it would have been better than GTA IV if they pulled it off right IMO.

Well...it's not total shit. But they could have done so much better, not to mention it ran like total shit as well. It would cruising along for me, totally playable...then it would randomly tank to ~10-15 FPS. IIRC quite a few people had trouble running it on medium/low settings too, let alone maxed out. Not to mention it looks horrible on low settings...GTA IV wins in that department too.
