Really? I've done that before and I quite enjoyed the green water that came out. What's wrong with the red? :colbert:
Some mowers wont suck up the grass if you pull it. Check yours do avoid extra work.
you should get a mower with a bag so it collects the grass
Use scissors to get the finest cut.

What scissors do you recommend? Will any craft scissors do?
Don't grab into the blades of your mower!
Remember push it away from you don't pull it towards you or you'll find some more red water
