Meat boy flash is not the same as Super Meat Boy.
As team meat said: "Go die in a carpet fire."
You're an idiot if you chose Vietnam over meatboy.
I'd have to go with BC2: Vietnam, you can play Meat Boy as the flash game.
I'd have to go with Super Meat Boy, you can play Bad Company 2 as the same game.

You're an idiot if you pay for flash games. Bad ones at that.
Super Meat Boy is not a fucking flash game. The prototype (which is fucking HORRIBLE compared to the game) was made in Flash.

Hold on let me shovel out 15 bucks for a slippery platformer that will last me five minutes until I quit from the enlarged tumor growing on my fingers.

-It's not slippery, controls are spot on and as tight as fuck.
-I've played it for 20 hours, and I'm still ready to play more, as I'm only finished ~50% of the game.
-The 50% I have played is the easy 50%, so the harder 50% will take me much longer.
-By the time I've finished those 300 levels, I'll have a level editor and portal, giving me so much content that I can't play it all.
-The controls aren't bad once you get used to them, if you use A and S for jump and sprint your fingers will be tumour free.
I'm not saying do not go and buy Battlefield, I'm sure it's great too. But for what it's worth I think he'd benefit from buying Super Meat Boy first, as he will still have BC2 to play, which just recently got new content so it's fresh.
To tell you the truth I have them both and I actually prefer Meat Boy. It lasts for months due to the level of challenge in the game, it's fun, there are 3 secret characters unlockable by cheat codes (Tofu Boy, Brownie, and either Gish or a Goo Ball (Super Secret Code, Unfound as of yet.). Buy Super Meat Boy. It will no doupt last you longer than BC2 and by the time you beat it you'll most liekly have enough to buy BC2!
There's basicly 200% to this game. 100% Light Levels, 100% Dark Levels (Even more challenging versions of the Light Worlds, with added traps and such). Overall there's no way you could complete Super Meat Boy in less than 5 minutes. Not even Chuck Norris could do that. Not even God.
It's an awesome game with simple controls and hard as fucking hell gameplay. I'd rather play SMB than Red Dead Redemption! There's nothing bad about it and it's easy on the ragers, adding in secret characters that give you advantages on certain maps. Hell, Commander Video is the easiest Secret Character to find and unlock and yet I'm beating the shit out of Hell with him!
BC2 is just LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG.
Buy Super Meat Boy.
I like the controls on the game. Maybe it's just that I'm a extremely experienced gamer that I'm used to default keyboard controls?
You can get the N Game, which is similar to Super Meat Boy and it's free.
