Not a phrase but when a teacher doesn't spell something right on a test, it really puts me off.
"Like if you believe in god. Ignore and burn in hell."
And everything based on that shit, it's so fucking annoying...
" Oh brother "

Sometimes it's hard to believe people like this exist.

When people say, "I <blah blah> with a passion," typically used in conjunction with "hate." That's only a complete fucking given when you start off with the word hate.
That and dipshits who believe that their intelligence is an accurate meter for their wisdom or usefulness... or their ability to be acceptable human beings. That's not the fucking case.
I'd say "I could care less" but... Nah, I feel like my hatred towards people who use that phrase is 100% justified, maybe even a little restrained.

I always see getting angry at redunancies in everyday conversation a waste of energy; half the words people say are redundant adverbs. You'll spend a lot of time getting angry over not a lot if you give that stuff as much significance as you do
Anyone else have a phrase that at one point didn't bother you, but now you can't fucking stand it because of your experiences with one specific fuckhead?
"It is what it is."
I knew someone who said it all the goddamned time. She and her boyfriend were both scumbags who robbed my elderly mother and me blind, as well as vandalizing the room they were renting from us.
I get annoyed by "pristine" as well. "Pristine" was not only overused, but often used as a verb. As in, "I'd like to pristine out the lawn."
"I work much harder than you and you [...]"
Sorry for trying to help you out you miserable bitch! This kind of shit pisses me off to no end, that person might as well say "Begone with thee, filthy peasant, for I art a truly hard-working man."
Another thing that's more of a pet peeve than genuinely anger-inducing is putting ellipses at the end of every sentence. It just makes me think the person using it is about to fall asleep or really damn bored.
''Wow you're so edgy''
Especially when it's childishly used to dismiss other people's opinions.
"unironically"
''Wow you're so edgy''
you get that one a lot

I hate how people say that, why would you say that you could care less? That means that you actually care. The proper term is "I couldn't care less".
It makes me so fucking angry.
Most Call of Duty speak pisses me off. Partially because I can't understand it, partially because I don't need to hear how you did a, "360 planking noscope backflip killstreak kitty MOAB Whiskey Foxtrot Tango sideflip roadhouse barn door bran cereal hipshot owling carrot."
especially if they have anime avatars
smite all those who have anime avatars
yes, especially you
"Am I the only one that [common opinion or habit]?"
"You're useless"
"McAfee is good, throw that trash anti virus away."
Seriously, mum? For fuck sake. Aint no one touching my COMODO.
"your games break computer"
"You just don't have any swag."
Say the word "swag" one more time and you wont have any FUCKING LEGS
"Faith in humanity:*Insert word here*"
How can you judge a whole species based on the actions of a few, that is incredibly infuriating.
'Same difference'
Nuuughh, don't get me started.
"Better with Kinect".
Fuck off Microsoft. It's not.
I'm loving this thread - seeing other people annoyed at the same shit as me makes me feel really nice.
On topic: Someone replying to my advice or suggestion with "You're not the boss of me" makes my shit boil in my bowels.
"unironically"
you get that one a lot
Yeah i do and it's an extremely childish way to dismiss my opinions.
always thought of it as "could've", "should've", and "would've"
That's what I meant by "contraction contains HAVE". Figured I made that perfectly clear.
i have trouble trusting people who use "ya'll" on the internet.
more often than not the people seem to use it as a way of suggesting that whoever they're talking to is of lesser intelligence than them.
Oh, this is another one. It's "y'all", not "ya'll". It's short for "You all", not "Ya ll" or some other nonsensical phrase.
But, I must agree. I don't like the word either.
Any sort of linguistic snobbery whatsoever.
I as much as anyone appreciate good grammar, a large vocabulary, and a complete knowledge of the rules we all agreed upon when we wrote our tongue down.
However, that does not preclude me from saying your a fucking twat when you correct a decently-worded and intelligent, thought out statement by saying "you're*". Language is a means for communication. Do not say "actually it's whom" because you clearly understood what I meant if you are capable of reading it and then having the audacity to correct it. It is rude and pretentious.
I also utterly detest any reference to OCD when discussing mild irritations. No, you moron, you do not have OCD because you don't like it when the space between the tiles is slightly off. That is Caring About Shit That Doesn't Matter Because Your Life Has No Meaning Disorder.
"That's just your opinion". Or just "that's your opinion".
Yes, what I said is, indeed, what I just said. Thank you for your HELPFUL INPUT.
'inb4 x'
'ban x'
'and it was never heard of again' (in medical news threads)
People who post this shit are the scourge of Sensationalist headlines, I'm just wondering why the third phrase hasn't become bannable yet.
When people dislike someone for being "weird".
"Weird" is a dumb insult. No one has the same idea of what "weird" is, so by calling someone weird you're just saying that they're not like you are, which is silly because that would mean that pretty much everyone else in the world is weird to you.
"legit."
With that said, allow me to proceed cutting my head off with a fork.
