You watched all that until you came to this thread? Wow. It's really sad. The only people I know personally (besides one) watch all that rubbish. I really wish there was a word I can use to describe those animes (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece).
I only saw Bobobo and Inuyasha before I started lurking this thread. Not too shabby
What are you guys even talking about? His point is that Bleach stopped airing back in March. One Piece and Naruto on the other hand is still airing.
But people still rave about TTGL and Death Note. Bleach just kind of fizzled out quietly. Which is good.
[sp]queerat arc was really engaging.[/sp]
But that was the second worst part, right behind one-yen-per-frame homo filler.
You'd have to be some kind of Republican to let something like that take you away from the show.
You'd have to be some kind of Republican to let something like that take you away from the show.
I was well aware of what I was getting into before I started watching, but it was handled rather terribly (among the series' already-poor direction).
The constant director swapping gets disorienting as hell, but I'd say it's definitely on the rise with the recent episodes. It feels like the initial episodes were really all over the place, but now that shit's gone down I'm pretty excited for the next episodes.
It could have been great if they condensed it into two 25 episode seasons. That's 95% of the crap gone.
I read the manga (Pretty far actually, got to the Killer Bee part) during my free periods when I was in high school and some of it was alright but some parts were taken too seriously. Could of cut a lot of the bullshit out and only keep the main parts. I sort of feel the same with One Piece too. I don't really watch/read it but I reckon they should of just made it the same length as Fullmetal Alchemist. I hear it's not even about finding the One Piece anymore.
I read the manga (Pretty far actually, got to the Killer Bee part)
But that's when it starts getting good.
TTGL can take its place then.
Isn't there Fairy Tail? I haven't read it for ages but I think it was similar to One Piece. So I guess Fairy Tail, Naruto and One Piece. [editline]10th December 2012[/editline]
But that's when it starts getting good.
I think I officially stopped when (spoilers)[sp]Orochimaru or someone brings a lot of the older characters back from the dead, including Zabuza and Haku[/sp] Stopped reading up to there because that was the last volume my school had.

I love volumes 1 - 6 the most though. I stopped buying the Naruto manga because I wanted to catch up on Bleach (I have the first 21). I continued to read Bleach online (I'm on chapter 400 something; it's been too long). I am now not really so motivated to read Bleach once[sp]I heard that Ichigo becomes part quincy. I mean seriously Tite Kubo, WHAT THE FUCK IS HE NOT?! I'm over the "this guy is more powerful, better learn something to beat him, or maybe some miracle will happen (Naruto - I'm going to learn another rasengan / Bleach - I'm just going to be a part everything)"[/sp]
I used to read bleach in school (it was the only manga they had in the library) and I thought the first 4 or so volumes wheren't so bad, same with naruto and one piece. I tend to read 4 or so volumes of a manga and give up (mostly because I don't want to get into a series with more than 20 or so books) I do kinda see bleach and naruto as like entry level shit, but then again I was watching better stuff when I was younger (studio ghibli, lots of it) I think it's important to watch the bad stuff, you'll appreciate the good stuff more. Edit That said I did watch somewhere in the region of 90-128 episodes of bleach, gave up and only started watching anime after everyone got code geass avatars and someone reccomended it to me.
The first Manga I read was Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney :v: [editline]10th December 2012[/editline] I only learned it was a game afterwards
At least One Piece is not as bad at storytelling as Naruto and Bleach are.
first manga I read was fruits basket odd start
first manga I read was fruits basket odd start
Actually not bad. It was my second Manga. I only have 13 volumes.
My first manga was Hellsing, because original anime was awful.
I was over the moon when people were posting highlights of 'It's not my fault that I'm not popular', that was my first manga. (I havn't been into this whole Japanese culture thing for very long)
Rosario+Vampire was my first manga Needless to say I haven't felt any great urge to read any more manga
My first manga was Karin since it was in the school library. It only had 6-7 volumes or so. My second and last manga was Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei which I got the first volume of as a birthday present from one of my friends. Ah... manga, comic books that are only pleasantly readable on print and only losers spends money on to read. :v:
kill urself
No can do, I'm already dead. Ever since you got that avatar I've been a ghost.
No can do, I'm already dead. Ever since you got that avatar I've been a ghost.
all children should remember to let their doctors examine their nutbladder thoroughly at the first sign of defect or pains. It will be lethal.
all children should remember to let their doctors examine their nutbladder thoroughly at the first sign of defect or pains. It will be lethal.
Yeah, I learned that the hard way. That shit should have been taught to children in grade school.
