This syncs up far too well for me to be okay with it:
So I was digging around Fast Anime ver. 23 and found this http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=837254&p=18111869&viewfull=1#post18111869
That's fucking stupid. You should rate based on what it is, not what it was. This is why I hate the ratings system.
love you chunky you should come back
Alright, so I think I need some Japanese cultural nuances explained to me. Sakura-sō no Pet na Kanojo, why was it such a big deal that the two male characters were pouring drinks for each other? It was annoying how she made such a big deal out of it. Same thing with a couple of other instances that I can't recall at the moment, but seriously.
its gay
Your name would suggest you've poured sake for someone? Serious note, pouring sake for someone followed by simultaneous consumption is a ritual that declares a bond of friendship. It's the alcoholic Japanese equivalent of two people spitting in their palms and shaking hands.
I just discovered the magic of Shana Project, now my laptop automatically downloads each new URW sub of Chuu2 as soon as it's uploaded
can't this be simply done with most releases due to feeds
I set it up but not sure if it is working. Does it only download new additions to the feed or does it get everything in the feed?
On the "Add Follow" page, there's an option to retroactively match releases or only match releases after that
Oh god, cheesy prank dawning on me... Jump on someones computer and add a buttload of follows and tick that box. If they can't figure out how to disable it, they'll get bombarded with new anime 24/7.
lole kill selves don't ask why, I just did it [editline]10th November 2012[/editline] [sp]I'm not too fond of Volcaloids I'll throw that out there[/sp]

For anyone watching the new Hayate season, how does it compare to the 2 previous seasons? The real question I'm asking: is the new Hayate focusing on building Hayate's harem or is it pure slapstick/references?
I woke up home alone this morning, thinking I could finally do an entry for FA sings, my brother comes home before I finish breakfast, and then my dad. I just wanna sing.
I woke up home alone this morning, thinking I could finally do an entry for FA sings, my brother comes home before I finish breakfast, and then my dad. I just wanna sing.
invite them to sing with you

So I've only just started watching anime, mainly K-ON and Seitokai no Ichizon right now, but I wanted to watch something a little more serious so a friend recommended me Angel Beats. If anyone here has seen it, is it any good?

Like the [sp]resident evil hallway[/sp] But it's easily overlooked and worth watching, in my opinion. But if you're looking for something serious, why not try Steins;Gate?
thanks, I'll check both of them out
I wanted to watch something a little more serious
I might recommend you to One Piece or even possibly YuGiOh! if you can keep track of a deep story with rich backgrounds.
Serious note,
I would say Code Geass, interesting combat and diplomatic situations combined well with the overly powerful student council trope.
Horrible for chess though.
Horrible for chess though.
Second example right here!
Is there a specific genre you like? (Action, Drama, Sci-fi, Fantasy, etc) Would help alot with giving suggestions.
Well, as I said, K-ON and Seitokai are the only shows I've watched so far and liked, I also tried death note and high school of the dead and disliked both of them. I've been a fan of studio ghibli films, mainly Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away, so I guess I enjoy fantasy. So I really want some recommendations for slice of life, and fantasy.

For Fantasy i personally liked: .hack//Sign Claymore (The ending kinda sucks though)
