Finished chu2 this morning, ending gets a little to much hate imo, it isn't as bad as you guys made out. I started watching tokyo tribes 2 kinda by accident, wasn't till halfway through the first episode I realised I remembered seeing the manga advertised in the back of one of my books before. I can sum the entire show up in one word though, different. The character designs are "different" the art is "different" the cinematography is "different" the story is "different". I've got a question, does anyone know any anime where the fights are actually, ya'know, good? Like I'm sick of all of these fights in SAO that consist of fancy ass camera angles and someone yelling, same with shit like bleach, just yelling and panting. I want to see a fight where the characters involved look angry, they give of the vibe that the genuinely want the other person dead, I want their anger and rage shown. I s'pose the only things I can think of that are anything like what I'm looking for are like the bit in tora dora when [sp]taiga goes after the girl who broke prez's heart[/sp] you know that pure hatred and rage, that was cool. I remember watching it and going "This is brutal, I like this, this is good" another example of this is the atmosphere at the end of durarara when [sp]blond kid tries to take out the dude who took over the yellow/gold scarves[/sp] this is another moment were I just sat there like "This is going to be interesting" Do any of you guys know what I'm on about, or am I just talking shite?
Not so much 'hate' as it is 'what the fuck did i just watch'. 'wow, this shit completely lost track of itself' also works.
That too. Sounds different. I understand what you're getting at, Cowboy Bebop had some nice gritty fights. SAO has a pretty good finale fight [sp]in the hospital carpark. The fact that Kirito was in real danger made him act accordingly and all the[/sp] screaming and panting turns into actual anger/panic. BTOOOM has quite downright scary fights, where one side will be paralyzed in fear while the other is a homicidal psychopath. Trigun has some pretty humorous fights that are fairly cool. No, you aren't talking shit. We're on pretty similar wavelengths here.

Btooom isn't that bad.
So I just finished the first season of "Say I Love You"... Does anyone know when the next season is out, or how many more episodes there are going to be??? Crunchyroll is saying that they're airing episode 13 in two days, but I can't find a second season announcement anywhere on the internet :(
BTOOOM sounds quite cool, I'll check that out when I get back, and maybe trigun, I've been meaning to watch that for a while.
BTOOOM is good, just be prepared for a half-ok ending that is open for interpretation. Trigun is a good watch, despite dragging a little bit in the middle.

Trigun is something that I've known about for years, but never really looked into, it's one of those shows that you should watch, but you just forget about.
I checked the MAL page for it, I wish I'd known about it sooner
Possible spoiler, but I'm gonna be polite and give you a rape warning (early episodes, nothing graphic)
BTOOOM is good, just be prepared for a half-ok ending that is open for interpretation. Trigun is a good watch, despite dragging a little bit in the middle.
you must be the only person i've ever seen saying BTOOOM is good
you must be the only person i've ever seen saying BTOOOM is good
It was good as a short action fix, not like I'll be rewatching it. At least it wasn't as shitty as Code: Breaker. [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] Btw, I'm enjoying Ouran High Host Club now. You were right about watching past episode 3, so that's some common ground we share.
I enjoyed Btooom even though its pretty mediocre. I hope they make a second season.
Just watched the first ep of Jormungand, I like it Also, dat Volvo S80
Just watched the first ep of Jormungand, I like it Also, dat Volvo S80
I've been weighing up Jormungund for a while. Now that you've mentioned Volvo's, I'm in! [editline]dgg likes to suck his own vagina[/editline]
You must be a very easy person to manipulate.
Fuck, I think I just proved his point. :v:
ye
For a show that emphasizes the realism (for lack of a better term) of arms dealers and shit like that, there is a hell of a lot of A-Team firing in this damn show. [sp]THAT ONE SCENE WITH JONAH AND THAT ORCHESTRA LEADER DUDE FIRING FULL AUTO AT EACH OTHER AT LESS THAN 10 METRES AWAY WITH NO INJURIES ON EITHER OF THEM WAS RIDICULOUS[/sp]
Whats some recent good Action/Drama anime? Sorta in that mood.
Just finished SOA. I think it went really downhill after the first several episodes, but it was really good before that.
