but how the fuck do they not get injured or killed? anime magic at work
It's explained in 10.5, it's based upon real military training exercises where low-explosive rounds are used and a computer/sensors inside the tank judges hits based upon projectile angles and stuff like that.

Don't quote gimmicks or you'll also get banned.
Finished volume 9 (alicization beginning) of the SAO light novels yesterday. I love how [sp]they're actually dabbling into man-made controlled lucid dreaming. The extreme vividity and realism is exactly as described. In one of my lucids I spent time looking at a wooden table, slapping it with my hands and feeling the texture and looking at it closely, amazed at how detailed it was. Just like Kirito did with the grass at the beginning. The more you know![/sp]
Indeed! I finished all the translated volumes (1-10) on Saturday and thought it portrayed a pretty interesting look into things. [sp]I like how the technology ties into Accel World, providing a backstory to how acceleration works. That being said, some of the mechanics in STL VR are a little strange; is a base world prepared by a computer, and then the occupants fill it with their visualizations of objects? Wouldn't each user perceive the minute details of objects differently? It actually quite reminds me of Inception in that regard; controlled shared dreaming, where the computer is the architect.[/sp] Anyway, it's a shame Volume 11 won't be translated for a few months; I didn't expect it to be an arc greater than two novels. At least it'll be fleshed out a little more (unlike [sp]GGO, which I thought was a little short and could've done with some more exposition.[/sp])

Hope it won't take too long to translate 11.
I'm gonna give GuP a shot, what subs should I use?
I'm gonna give GuP a shot, what subs should I use?
horriblesubs, or commie's non-troll version
I loved this during the episode. Too bad a longer version isn't on the OST, or the Russian Lullaby Nonna sang.
Yeah I also finished vol. 10, yesterday. Hope it won't take too long to translate 11.
i started reading the 8th volume just recently, is it good? seems like its flashbacks to the SAO and ALO world?
i started reading the 8th volume just recently, is it good? seems like its flashbacks to the SAO and ALO world?

This is another compilation of side stories after volume 2. As the title says, it is the records of the latest story of SAO world (to be accurate, in chronological order, it was about a week before volume 7『Mother’s Rosario』) and the earliest story of SAO world (this too, to be accurate, happened an hour after chapter 1 of volume 1『Aincrad』<Laugh>).
yeah, it's a nice read.
ah, alright! thanks m8
Yama no Susume is good i just wish it was longer than 3 minutes
loli with vertigo goes mountain climbing with loli friends. tho it has nice visuals for being a <5 minute show.
Ready Player One is a book I started reading that has a similar plot to SAO but no death penalty and its about a contest. But I just started so it might be different than I think it is. Now that I typed all that its only similar in the VR part. Damn I must be bored to bring that up.
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/guide/abc3/201301/programs/ZX9129A001D2013-01-06T201855.htm apparently madoka's going to start airing on ABC, starting this Sunday
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/guide/abc3/201301/programs/ZX9129A001D2013-01-06T201855.htm apparently madoka's going to start airing on ABC, starting this Sunday
would of probably been better on Adult Swim
http://www.abc.net.au/tv/guide/abc3/201301/programs/ZX9129A001D2013-01-06T201855.htm apparently madoka's going to start airing on ABC, starting this Sunday
madoka isn't as hardcore as people would like to believe
madoka isn't as hardcore as people would like to believe
I can image moms expecting it to be some super cute anime with cute girls doing cute things, fighting some evil monsters and succeeding in victory!
Well shit. I'll probably move onto something more srs like Ergo Proxy or Legends of the Galactic Heroes then.
Don't listen to him, s2 was great watch it.
Don't listen to him, s2 was great watch it.
isn't the second season like universally regarded as worse than the first?
I never heard any bad comments about it. Except on MAL, but nobody cares about them.
maria holic was fun
isn't the second season like universally regarded as worse than the first?
That shouldn't stop anyone from watching a second season they could enjoy it just as much as the first, even if it wasn't 'universally regarded' as good tl;dr just watch it and form your own opinion

I read all the released chapters of HxH. :v:
I wanna watch Neon Genesis Evangalion. Should I watch the original series, the 2 "condensed" movies (Death & Rebirth and End of Evangalion) which are apparently the tv series with a few new scenes and just a lot more condensed or start watching Rebuild Of Evangalion which is a 4-part movie series with the first 3 already been released and the 4th being released in 2013/2014. Rebuild apparently will have a different ending than the tv show, but the 4th part isn't out yet so I would have to wait for that. I think it's pretty much between the tv series and the Rebuild movies. I could watch both I guess, but I don't usually like watching the same story over again (even if a bit different) [editline]3rd January 2013[/editline]
I read all the released chapters of HxH. :v:
Now enjoy the hiatus for apparently no reason.
