It is really dull! For fucks sake just reading the description is boring.

It's a boring-looking anime about a boring family during the boring 1964 olympic games.
(That's a lot of boring)
Just finished watching shinsekai yori ep 14.
I was definitely not expecting a biology lesson.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/j7Uzu.jpg[/t]
It was a pretty good episode, and i'm glad it's trying to use some science to explain more of the world. At least in comparison to it's typical supernatural and psychological [sp]hypnotism[/sp] that it normally sticks to.
I am not looking forward to episode 15 though; from what I can tell it will just be some more queerat nonsense. I also feel like it would've been better off if [sp]maria and mamoru were brought back without any problems[/sp]. It just seems like it has too much drama; nothing goes right and everything is complex. Although perhaps it's the fact that i'm watching it while it is airing that is screwing my sense of pacing.
I googled monogatari, this is what I got. Please link to whatever the fuck you are thinking of. (I'm pretty sure that 1964 Olympic Games: The Anime is NOT what you are thinking of)
It's *monogatari.
The ****** represents something.

I learned about higurashi in this forum and it looks amazing, I'm unsure whether to watch it all in a day or have it as a kind of go to during my boredom. time loops are interesting I personally like the kind of alternate universe what if stories. this is why I enjoy fanfiction. another great
thing about about anime is the kind of random images you'd not see normally.

Stands in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. Their odd abilities make most fights really interesting

It isn't really time travel because he doesn't travel in time. Each episode everything starts anew and he takes a different path in his school life.
[sp]But as it turns out, no matter what path he chooses he still thinks everything would be better if he took a different path. The grass is always greener on the other side and that jazz. It's a psychological effect to get a point through. Also if it was time travel then the two other characters (his love interest and his devilish "friend") would not be in the clubs he chose after the first one, but in every new path he takes they are in the club he chooses. Further strengthening the point and removing any sci-fi or supernatural time-traveling going on.
The reset is just to prove that it isn't what path you choose but what you personally do with your choices that matters. Take the opportunities before you and do something to improve your life, just doing something different and hope for that in itself to improve your situation is useless because you are the problem, not what you choose[/sp]
-Time travel stuff-
[sp]It's not literal time travel, but I think the "different paths" thing is very similar to what people love about time travel.
A hybrid trope of sorts... mind travel![/sp]:v:
But yeah, I suppose you're right then.

Me getting ninja'd
Probably shouldn't look up VA's for anime I'm gonna watch.
K-on is gonna be really weird now that I know it essentially stars 2 massive perverts and a yuri fangirl.

As someone who's just finished watching it, I recommend it highly. I'd also say that you shouldn't try to watch it all in a day, it's roughly 11 hours long, and I could only handle 6 before I went to bed, then the 5 up until now.
The ending was pretty good, I'm going to enjoy the next series. It's nice the way they actually clear up a lot of questions, and don't just leave you to guess.

Space Bros got a new OP again.
Currently indifferent about it. It'll either stay that way or grow on me I guess. I like the visuals in it though.
