sakurasou subs are out [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] Do you guys have a problem with rori or something?
Watched all of Nekomonogatari. I'm kinda confused now. [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] The ending left more questions open than anything.
What? You mean I won't get my Shiina and Nanami in santa outfits? Lame!
I don't even get why they did a transformation scene for the blonde girl in Senran Kagura. Should of just have her strip erotically really since her transformed form is just her clothes except unbuttoned.
BuddyWaters is extremely fast, and has great typesetting and superb dialogue flow
GREAT TYPESETTING WHAT has he done a huge change since episode 12 or what?
sorata sure captures the essence of normal teenager perfectly [sp]what an asshole. i thought he would've grown out of the whole jealousy thing with mashiro since he already went through that situation.[/sp]
Started reading Prunus Girl woop for traps
starting back up on akb0048 I need to finish this series at some point
What? You mean I won't get my Shiina and Nanami in santa outfits? Lame!
Not at all!
is it possible not to dislike or hate Sorata [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] i bet he's gonna break his promise on the 24th
GREAT TYPESETTING WHAT has he done a huge change since episode 12 or what?
I like subs that don't take up half of my screen
I've never had subs do that.
I've never had subs do that.
has happened to me once
I see. Just finished Oppai Shinobi, err, Senran kagura. I'll watch it but I'm not expecting it to be any good.
Damn it. Saw Read comments to see where it was from. Saw the first episode of it. Found it to be quite funny. :v: Although it does feel like it's some drama for girls, and it probably is, but it's funny.

Having watched the first episode of Durarara all I can say is dis gon b gud [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] Not only because of the seven foot tall black russian
Having watched the first episode of Durarara all I can say is dis gon b gud [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] Not only because of the seven foot tall black russian
First 12 EP's are cool, imo the story went south after that.
Soon IMO, this season is gonna be a competition between this and Maoyuu Yuusha. [editline]tight-ass[/editline] C'mon Akuma, what did I say wrong this time? :v:
dat boob grab
Fuck me, this is the last time I check this thread at school, when that came up I was almost shitting myself in fear that someone had seen. I've pretty much permenantly dropped a few series that I started a while ago, death not because I just don't like what I've seen, full metal panic because although it is reasonably good, it just doesn't seem worth the time and huruhi suzumiya because I have no interest in it at all, I just didn't like it.

[editline]scottywired is retarded[/editline] C'mon Akuma, what did I say wrong this time? :v:
You are implying that maoyuu is going to be great after seeing only one episode, and that tamako is going to rival it's "greatness" when it hasn't even aired yet. You were most likely rated dumb because you are making assumptions based on hype and trailers. You are also completely overlooking the fact that Spacebros, Shinsekai yori, Robotics;Notes, and Psycho-pass are all still airing and could be considered as a part of this "season". And not to forget that chihayafuru's second season will start airing soon as well, which should be great if it's anything like the first season.
first episode of Cuticle Detective Inaba, this might just be amazing

You'll also look like an idiot with a 12 year old's attention span if you say stuff like "I haven't read/watched ____ because it's bad/dumb/uninteresting."
wat why would you watch somethinge you dnot lik
A lot of people would say you should really finish certain shows even if you don't like them just so you can know and be familiar with them
To which I would ask why on earth I would continue to do something I already know I don't like. Seriously, that's kinda dumb.
To which I would ask why on earth I would continue to do something I already know I don't like. Seriously, that's kinda dumb.
You're right, it is kinda dumb, but with the way humans communicate it's helpful to always have some works to be mutually familiar with. It's the same reason teachers make you read Shakespeare in school. It's so you can see how it changed the medium and get a better understanding of the origin of the medium, not so you can enjoy it. NGE is a good example of a show that's helpful to be familiar with even if you might not have enjoyed it. Eva references are all over the place and even when everyone has different opinions of it they can use it as a standard.

I don't watch an anime because I have to, I watch it because I want to. If I genuinely care about the evolution of the medium, I'll try stuff like NGE but that's absolutely no guarantee that I'll finish it because I value my viewing pleasure over stuff like experiencing the evolution of the medium.
NGE is a good example of a show that's helpful to be familiar with even if you might not have enjoyed it. Eva references are all over the place and even when everyone has different opinions of it they can use it as a standard.
Okay, let's take NGE as an example. Say I start watching it and don't like it. Say I should finish it in order to get the references to it in other anime. If I don't care about NGE, why on earth would I care about any references?
Every season needs a good fanservice anime.
But it can't be good if it's only fanservice.
A lot of people would say you should really finish certain shows even if you don't like them just so you can know and be familiar with them
The only person in this thread that says that is me, and I guess with this post, you as well? That's not a lot of people, and I haven't heard of anyone that has that attitude amongst friends and people I've met.
