These well the only butt shots in Vividred operation. This was supposed the be the next generation of butt-anime. I demand my money back.

well of course when I said the show was great I meant the first episode.

I bet you haven't watched Sky Girls.
there's a massive fullscreen panty shot in the first 10 seconds of bakemonogatari, I think shaft has been down the fanservice route for quite a while
The Bakemonogatari Light Novels are very perverted and aims the whole show into that direction. But it's for the most part tasteful in Bakemonogatari.
I think they're just adapting the LN faithfully, like with *monogatari series. not really their choice to put in all that fanservice, it was already in the light novels.
Haven't seen the episode yet though
That doesn't explain some low angles and breast zooms, but it does explain boob missiles and naked chocolate statue.
Okay- Anyone who hasn't seen Strike Witches and Vividred Operation, I challenge you to tell the two shows apart without cheating
Why is it a challenge? I haven't, nor intend to watch either but this is beyond obvious.
The top with robots with glowing red spots is Vividred and bending lasers is Strike Witches.
The trademarked panty shot and rocket leggings is obviously Strike Witches whereas the other one is Vividred (which shares no similarities with the Strike Witches image at all, so why is that even a challenge?)

it's not comedy ;~;
if it was a comedy I would've dropped it. I'm getting really sick of this comedy moeblob sol bullshit
it finally arrived. Ordered it on the 27th, and then it was confirmed to be sent in mail in Stockholm last friday (which is only about 3 hours from where i am) but somehow managed to take an entire week to deliver.

What's everyones opinion on neon genesis evangelion? I just finished the series and i'm not sure if disappointed over the ending or what.
Also just did a piano cover of the op:

Did you watch End of Evangelion? That's the actual ending of the series.
Did you watch End of Evangelion? That's the actual ending of the series.
Yeah I did. I count that as part of the series though. I'm still mindfucked over that ending though.
Yeah I did. I count that as part of the series though. I'm still mindfucked over that ending though.
Yeah, I can't even begin to imagine how frustrating just being left with the TV show's ending would've been.
I generally explain away the majority of NGE by using this OP:

On a completely unrelated note I just finished Full Metal Alchemist. Started ok and had some neat moments but it tended to drag on around the middle and the ending seemed really rushed in comparison, with the final five episodes cramming in a load of plot and exposition that threw off the pacing of the series as a whole for me.
And as I said before, I'm not sure if I liked how the show would suddenly veer from a really dark atmosphere to really cartoony comedy. I'd say it clocks in at about 6.5/10 for me.
why does this go together
it.. shouldn't.. but it does
mindfuck

OK.
Anyway, FMA: Brotherhood? Better than the original? I know it sticks closer to the Manga and that the animation quality is a hell of a lot better, but as a show how much better is it?
I read a few reviews, and they mostly say it comes down to personal taste as to whether or not you like one over the other.
I've never met one who liked the 2003 version over Brotherhood.
There's a reason why it's so highly rated on MAL
OK.

fuckloads better
Oeky dokey, well I'll probably finish Durarara! first, or maybe look at checking out Ergo Proxy or Zoku Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei

of course
of course
Yeah, reading that over I realise it's one of the more redundant things I've said. Reminds me of the time I was recommending Steins;Gate to someone, I told that if it's the sort of thing they liked then they'd like it.
"If you think this sort of thing is bad then you won't like it" - RearAdmiral 2012
[editline]wat[/editline]
In Durarara! I keep getting distracted by Sonohara's impossibly huge rack compared to all the other schoolgirls. They're not even that big by anime standards but I haven't felt this confused by economics since someone told me that Yoko's meant to be 14 at the start of TTGL
OK.

I feel that Brotherhood told the story way better than the original.
I feel that Brotherhood told the story way better than the original.
It's almost like the original ran out of source material halfway through and had to halfass a shitty ending or something.
I feel that Brotherhood told the story way better than the original.
well the original had to switch to original story once they passed the manga
well the original had to switch to original story once they passed the manga
That'd actually explain a lot of my greivances with the show, particularly the pacing around the middle and towards the end. Out of curiosity, at which point does the switch happen?
Oh my god are you serious, fuck me Vividred Operation wasn't even that bad. Fuck everything, I hate you guys.
