What does Shinya say [sp]before Akane shoots him[/sp] in Ep 1? Don't tell me if it's revealed later, the subs I watch are late so I've only seen one episode.
It's not been revealed yet, however, it might be in a few episodes.
It also means project, schedule, scheme, program/programme and sometimes inclination. Most unnecessary non-translation ever.
it's a joke/meme i think it originates from this
Hmm… Still looks disproportionate and fat ah well, guess I'll find something else better to do
if that's fat I'd hate to see what you think is skinny

Just finished watching FLCL (Fooly Cooly). It was... something. Very much something.
Just finished watching FLCL (Fooly Cooly). It was... something. Very much something.
Read this and give it a rewatch some time; that's a pretty decent plot analysis that delves into some of the themes it portrays. FLCL is great, but often lacked the time needed to fully explain the necessary aspects of its plot properly. Seeing it again knowing what's going on in the superficial story, and how everything relates to the theme of adolescence will give you a deeper appreciation of the show, and an enjoyable rewatch.
I don't get it, I've watched the first two episodes of Psycho-Pass and the story is centered around Akane Tsunemori but according to MAL the anime is focused around Shinya Kougami
Thats the problem.
Anyone seen The Big O? Worth watching?
Anyone seen The Big O? Worth watching?
I used to watch bits and pieces of it on Adult Swim years ago. I ought to watch the whole thing sometime because it did look interesting from the episodes I did bother to watch.
Oh you should of been here in 2008. 3 pages of discussions on what codec pack to use or what media player was the best. Said discussion would return after a weeks time. [editline]13th November 2012[/editline] Not really good stuff since most of those episodes aren't up to par since they are the episodes without Alucard and just a lot of talk talk talk talk out-of-character and time-breaking talk talk talk talk talk.
I just watched 5 and 6, yeah Alucard isn't around, but the episodes were great. Action and talking was balanced just fine, at least to me. All around a good time, I totally recommend it.
Anyone seen The Big O? Worth watching?
it's alright, not my thing though. the consensus among people who are into that stuff though is that it's a pretty great show

It doesn't work for me as well.
Fixed it.
Saya no Uta VN was awesome
definitely my favorite VN and totally not because I'm a blind Gen Urobuchi fan
o this is even better i figured im wasting a good vn by just doing one ending and i continued. i assume its just normal to go trough all the paths
yeah there's 3 of them
If Saya no Uta is that horror vn, it drove my friend to almost committing suicide for some reason.
If Saya no Uta is that horror vn, it drove my friend to almost committing suicide for some reason.
holy shit wow wow elaborate [editline]14th November 2012[/editline] yes saya no uta could be described as a horror vn
holy shit wow wow elaborate [editline]14th November 2012[/editline] yes saya no uta could be described as a horror vn
tl;dr 2 of his cats died, his family was going through a rough time since his dad was cheating on his mom, he decided to play Saya no Uta and it struck a chord in him to rethink his life, he goes offline for a while and then 2 weeks later he messages me saying "I'm back from the hospital", he tells me how he took all these pills and stuff and saya no uta was a fucked up VN. I'm friends with a lot of suicidal people on steam, 2 of them attempted suicide but failed, the 3rd one I was able to talk out of.
okay that's a bit reassuring I can see how it could be enough to push him off the edge I was scared for a second as I thought he might have been in a completely healthy mental state
