I wish my school had an anime club. All my school has is a bunch of sports teams, and a group of kids that write a terrible school newspaper that nobody wants to read.
People in my school instantly went against it when a friend of mine decided to start an anime club.
Use MX Player. Everything worked for me so far with it. Assuming you got android.

Can't you use some Wlan?
[editline]21st November 2012[/editline]
Or you could simply download app on pc and copy to phone through usb.
Thing is Lumia isn't on Android, it's on Windows 7's phone OS and I can't install apps through my PC either because the only way to interact between the computer and the phone is this Zune piece of shit.
It's annoying, but at least I got Steins; Gate with hardsubs to transfer. Now if only I could get Jormungand to conver tto mp4 form mkv and still keep the hardsubs. Even wmv would be fine but it doesn't work with that either.
I eventually found out my school has an anime club. Unfortunately, I heard all they do is draw japanese stuff in there so I was immensely disappointed when I found out. I'm not even going to bother to join it either.
My school has a anime club, but its god awful. All they do is play Yugioh, talk about naruto, and play video games.
The unofficial anime club here is worse. All they talk about is weird shit nobody understands.

like cat soup?
My librarian hosts the "School Magazine" Club. If we assist her in making the school magazine, we get to go under cover of the AV room. We're a cool little club, watching anime (librarian even secured some more funding for "books" and we ended up with a nice crunchyroll subscription) on the big screen and playing games. Best part of all, everybody knows what's good and what's not. We rejected this aspergers kid when he played Bleach on the big screen with the surround sound on. Our methods to keep him away were borderline criminal.
[sp]We called him a nerd[/sp]
He's the hero anime needs.

Be best mates with him and show him your superior tastes in hentai
there arent any clubs at my school
do you all go to school in japen or something
do you all go to school in japen or something
That's just a lack of initiative. Show your interest in running a club and if you can gather enough of your fellow students, you're more than likely to secure some school assets to assist with your club. If you have a student council, they'll be your best bet. Heck, our school even has a Battlefield 1942 club run by me and the other librarian. We've got a Sensationalist Headlines Club (I helped with name on that one :v:), a foreign films club, a cooking club and a Lego Robots club. I'm part of all of these and none of them were founded by teachers, the teachers just assist with their knowledge and experience.
A school is a community. You are in that community. Communities are run by people. You are a person. Step up and take charge! Don't think of school as some inflexible authority that you can't negotiate with.
My school only has those generic boring clubs :(

Can't speak for anyone else by my high school didn't have an official club system. Our "clubs" were usually just things organized by students and then approved by the school if they wanted to use a classroom on a regular basis or something. Our anime club ran every Tuesday/Thursday but they only had stuff like Fairy Tail, Naruto and Angel Beats so I didn't bother.
Universities in Australia however have an official club system.
umm i dont know when you guys have time for this, i go to school from 8:20 to 16:00 then the school locks its doors and everyone has to leave

Our school isn't just a single building so by the time our clubs end, most of the school is locked up except the room we are using. We lock it and deposit the key in the mail slot in the office. Single building schools suck because hallway traffic.
The only problem here is that the requirements to start a new club is 1 adviser teacher and 10+5 students willing to join.
For a school with only 200 students, finding that 10+5 is pretty hard actually.
and I don't even know what do they mean by 10+5, isn't it just 15?
Means you need to have 10 perma members and 5 stand ins.

Ahh, that makes sense. Thanks!
I founded the political science club at my school.
the anime club was ughagHAGHAHGhgahga all they did was talk about Naruto, bleach, and draw shitty fan-made manga or whatever. That club was literally filled with so many spergs.
umm he obviously has the hot for ms crazypants, so why would he even bother with her?
If he [sp]does actually know, he could at least not be a dick and just tell her he's not interested.[/sp]

Duh.
I even joined the kendo club. Bamboo Blade is a surprisingly accurate portrayal of kendo in fiction.
What anime is this from?
