j-shit never buy anything from there ever
I know there's a billion better alternatives but their ads are fucking everywhere, it's kinda hard to avoid noticing this stuff
what the actual fuck is up with the skirt lengths in newer anime? Seriously? it's not just blatant ecchi series either, most anime have been getting shorter and shorter skirt lengths for no reason. It's retarded. At least it looks like there's some good fantasy series next season, so i'm looking forward to that. Definitely checking out Sasami-san@Ganbaranai. And it's by SHAFT, so it's going be trippy as fuck.
I find the vacuum-tight/body-painting vest much more baffling than that
of course the skirts are gonna be short if it's an titty anime
etc etc. robotics;notes is borderline length. If you go back a few year's they're quite a bit longer on average. If you go back even further you'll see them past the knees, although that is just mimicking the more stricter skirt lengths in schools back then.
because sex sells
who car

That girl in the black, obviously a bimbo.
i rly liked sailor moon. i always thought it was so cute :3
On the topic of short skirts apparently arcueid is gonna have a miniskirt in the turkeyhandle remake Edit: Something a little like this [Thumb]http://www.imgur.com/CEBpB.jpeg[/thumb]
On the topic of short skirts apparently arcueid is gonna have a miniskirt in the turkeyhandle remake
hopefully nasu or takeuchi heard the fan feedback and decided against it. It would be truly awful. I also heard they're getting rid of her air intake on her head. Another crime against humanity.
Air intakes are ugly as shit.
Air intakes are ugly as shit.
wowe kill urself
S;G Movie
Did not know, well ignorance is bliss. I kinda wish I didn't know about it, now I'm going to obsess over it until it comes out. I should really continue watching K-On!! and Beck, actually on the subject of music related anime, know any good ones? Also I got SGT Frog 19 and 20 for my birthday, now I'm going to have to re-read 17 and 18 to re-cap the story, I hardly remember any of it past vol 11
Sakamichi no Apollon is supposed to be pretty good. And it's got some music in it apparently.
Wow i am enjoying this series. Thank you Fast Anime, for making me aware of its existence.
[Thumb]http://sadpanda.us/images/1260185-KTCAVCA.jpg[/thumb]
Hell yeah, must watch Minami-Ke. Boku wa tomodachi season 2 since i watched first one and it was funny. Dafuq is that thing with "Touhou" in it's name? Blood-C bd sounds nice. [editline]23rd November 2012[/editline]
actually on the subject of music related anime, know any good ones?
Macross frontier. I loved music in it. And the series is basically a music video. [editline]23rd November 2012[/editline]
actually on the subject of music related anime, know any good ones?
iDOLM@STER, Nodame Cantabile, Sora no Woto, Tari Tari, Sakamichi no Apollon are all good music-related anime by varying levels
actually on the subject of music related anime,
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem god why does everyone always fucking forget this, aka THE BEST
[Thumb]http://sadpanda.us/images/1260185-KTCAVCA.jpg[/thumb]
Train Hero sounds hilarious. I mean, it sounded somewhat interesting when it was a story about a rescue team to handle disasters... but transformation sequences? Lol. "And with your powers combined, I am... TRAIN HERO!"
Interstella 5555: The 5tory of the 5ecret 5tar 5ystem god why does everyone always fucking forget this, aka THE BEST
Interstella 5555 was AMAZING
S;G Movie
Aw shit. I'm not really educated on this subject, but why does/would it take so long to get a movie over here? Is it the subbers or just a lack of available sources?
Chu2Koi ep 8 had too much plot.
Aw shit. I'm not really educated on this subject, but why does/would it take so long to get a movie over here? Is it the subbers or just a lack of available sources?
I can imagine it just being the fact that it might be in movie theaters first, and then release it on DVD half a year later? While I don't know if that's really the problem, it's the only explanation I can think of. I highly doubt it'd be the lack of subbers or something.
Aw shit. I'm not really educated on this subject, but why does/would it take so long to get a movie over here? Is it the subbers or just a lack of available sources?
it takes a long time because it never airs on TV, they show the movie in theaters and then months later it comes out on DVD/BD which is easily acquirable, unlike flying over to japan to watch the movie in theaters. typically recently released anime is ripped from TV in japan, distributed online and then given subtitles by volunteers. And there's also stuff like Crunchyroll and Hulu which is remarkably quick in getting TV shows watchable shortly after it airs in japan via the internet. For movies, the only way they can be distributed online before DVD/BDs come out is if a camrip comes out (someone goes to the theater and covertly records the movie with their phone or something)

Does it take longer for them to actually get camrips out there?

Then take in the fact that at the end of the day, anime is a niche hobby, unlike high class studios making big budget films which are watched by nearly anyone and everyone all over the world. The Madoka movies made 1.25 million USD in domestic box office and aniplex just Four walled the movies to american theaters, not with immediate box office in mind (http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2012-10-09/1st-madoka-magica-film-opens-at-no.7-with-over-us$1-million) Skyfall (James Bond) has made 175 million USD in domestic box office alone so far. (http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id=bond23.htm) There's simply a lot more demand for camrips of mainstream films over niche films like anime movies.
But who would watch camrips to begin with?
Hoping Maoyuu Maou Yuusha doesn't suck [editline]22nd November 2012[/editline] Finally found my camera watching anime on tv in bed too strong
Initial D 5th stage is out Where the FUCK have I been
It has come to my attention that this thread does not have enough people who have watched Chihayafuru. This is a huge shame and must be rectified in an instant. This show is so under appreciated it's not even funny. The main character is a girl named Chihaya, and if any of you are watching Robotics;Notes, imagine Akiho, except a little less annoying and way more awesome. [sub]this message has totally been dgg-approved so you know it's a good series. go watch it[/sub]
So I started Gundam SEED Destiny and it's by far one of the worst anime I have ever seen and I will never figure out why Sunrise thought it was a good idea and it should fall into the depths of oblivion but I'll prevail through it!
