Huh, didn't know that, despite Robotics;Notes being in an alternative setting to Steins;Gate and Chaos;Head, Robotics;Notes is written by a different author all together.
Just starting to watch it now. While "tuturuu~" is cool, I'm finding it a little... Well, lacking in explanation or introduction of anything. Is it clearer by the end of episode 1?
just keep watching
Also did something come before Steins;Gate? If so, should I watch it before the other?
Chaos;Head came before but I heard the anime was utter shit. I'm reading the original VN now and it's pretty cool, but it's about as long as Steins;Gate even though they tried to cram it into 12 episodes in the anime. There were a few minor references in S;G, but nothing really massive (unlike Robotics;Notes, where some characters from the previous entries in the series are stated to make a cameo). Eventually they'll make a VN that's a conclusion of all three (Chaos;Head, Steins;Gate and Robotics;Notes), and there'll probably be an anime adaptation if it's popular enough, so if you're interested in that I'd suggest reading up on the other two if you can't be arsed to read the source material or don't feel like watching the shitty adaptation.
Naruto isn't too terrible, it's the fanbase that's really bad.
I remember when I was in highschool my japanese teacher made us watch Naruto to see japanese culture and she encouraged the webboism. It hurt
[t]https://dl.dropbox.com/u/5793726/woot.jpg[/t] This fucking character. I'm not sure if I hate her or if she's silly or if it's the shitty subs that ruin her.
In WhyNot subs she says "Here he is!" Although I agree, I can't tell right now if I like her or hate her. Love-hate. I'm pretty happy where Robotic;Notes is going though. I can't wait for next weeks episode, simply for Nae.
k-on is bad
It's not, it's just grossly overrated.
I wanted to start watching Steins;Gate but its almost midnight. Once I start watching I wont stop until the last episode. The temptation grrrrrrrrr.
I started watching last night/this morning at 12 a.m. I'm on episode 11 as of now. Edit: Actually episode 22
why skip school because of anime...
it's part of the ~thuq lyfe~
As requested by Daniellynet the rest of my room. Picture of the view/cat. (I live about 10 minutes away from civilisation)
Neat little room you have there. Liking that Madoka wall scroll, oh, and cute cat!
Also wait, can you be sentenced to death as a minor in Japan? He's only 14
Deadman Wonderland Spoilers [sp]It's all set up. Even though he's innocent, someone paid off the justice system to get more inmates in Deadman Wonderland.[/sp] At least, if I understood it right.
I remember when I was in highschool my japanese teacher made us watch Naruto to see japanese culture and she encouraged the webboism. It hurt
In secondary school my Irish teacher absolutely fucking hated Naruto. She had a ton of pictures of her in Japan and thought Japanese to fourth years. One of my friends was kind of a weeaboo and she tried so hard to snap him out of it. Sadly, he has fallen off the deep end. I don't think I can pull him back.
Going back to a bit of an old discussion. I think the only time I ever miss anything on the screen due to subs is Teekyuu. God that anime moves so fast, but that's what makes it so great. [editline]26th November 2012[/editline] Am I the only one watching it?
why skip school because of anime...
cause i dont care about school im not even in school anymore lol
Also wait, can you be sentenced to death as a minor in Japan? He's only 14
[sp]As already stated, the entire system is rigged. Someone has a lot of control so they can get what they want (though you probably already know whom). Then there is also the leaked 'video' which it seems everyone believed. Let's also ascribe the death sentence to a minor issue to the fact that a sadistic-like prison was approved; and also it's ten years into the future. [/sp]
cause i dont care about school im not even in school anymore lol
But you skipped school, you even said so yourself - so you can't NOT have school. Unless you mean skipping by it. That's a whole new story.
Hooooly fuck that was the worst ending I've ever seen [editline]25th November 2012[/editline] That was Mayo-Chiki-level bad
Mayo Chiki ending pissed me off, like... wow. Didn't even have an ending.
First episode of Deadman Wonderland, already confused The police would surely arrest him as a suspect, but why the hell would they sentence him? The only evidence is that he survived, how do they explain the damage done? Did he do that with his bare hands?! It's not like he was obviously left alive to take the blame or anything, nope
plot related or not, it's worth noting that Japan has a conviction rate of greater than 99% "One of the main features of the Japanese criminal justice system well known in the rest of the world is its extremely high conviction rate."
