Another Hayate is out. And I finished Joshiraku! Funny show deserves a 2nd season. That [sp]new character, gaha.[/sp]
Joshiraku 13 is my favourite last episode so far. It's rare for me to get this feeling of closure with anything that doesn't have a plot. Can you suggest me good supernatural/horror anime to watch while I wait for the Tatami Galaxy DVD? I like shows with slower pacing like Mononoke, Mushishi or Aoi Bungaku Series, but I dropped Bakemonogatari after 2¹/₂ episodes. (I think it's completely terrible and incredibly bland, but if you say it changes after that I'll try watching a few more episodes.)

dropping bakemonogatari is shameful
What the hell. You don't like Quentin Tarantino movies either I suppose?
tarantino makes cleverly disguised live-action anime with eventual foot fetish

Bakemonogatari was actually pretty boring a lot of the time, like in general. It was INTERESTING but not FUN most of the time, and thus requires a certain mindset to really enjoy. I recommend trying again anyway, because it was really good, just I can see why someone might not enjoy it.
Bakemonogatari was great, i really liked all the talking
I started reading the SAO LN, and I've finished the first book out of 10 (350 pages-ish) It's a lot better than the anime, probably ten times better. Also there wasn't any [sp]glopping[/sp], so that dissapointed me. (though there was an [sp]«Ethic Code On/Off»[/sp] they had to turn off to [sp]have sex[/sp]) What surprised me was the fact that the first book covers [sp]the entire SAO incident, from the first day to Kazuto waking up in the hospital, so I can't tell what the other 9 books are about.[/sp] So if anyone likes the story of SAO but didn't feel like the anime did the setting justice, try out the books.
What the hell. You don't like Quentin Tarantino movies either I suppose?
No, I really like them. I just think the characters in those movies are a LOT more likeable than those in the first 3 episodes of Bakemonogatari. I noticed that the dialogue is a bit similar, but for some reason I just don't care about the stuff they talk about in the anime. At all.

Still, Bake wasn't bad at all despite its negative points, I don't see it as a droppable show, but whatever, opinions are opinions
why
50% of what they talk about is Japanese culture stuff that you won't understand unless you know a fair bit about it. Another 30% is lore stuff (which won't make much sense either until a bit later in the series, bake makes you put the pieces together) so he might only be understanding a fraction of the dialogue.
this is too bizarre for me
Can't forget about

I think I get around 50% of the culture references, maybe. It's most likely less. I usually don't watch anything with that many references to normal culture, so I don't know a lot about it. So 30% are for later? I guess I'll try watching a few more episodes.

he did a good job for a 15 year old chinese dude in a short amount of time. And the translation really improved toward the end.
zawa... zawa... zawa...
Akagi is actually a brown-haired lesbian. Ten is the best manga about mahjong even though the title character gets overshadowed by Akagi in each of his appearances.
IMO, mayoi snail is the weakest arc, so at the very least get that over with before judging it any further, the next arc is really fun
I'd actually call Saruga Monkey the weakest. Might be because Kanbaru is not one of my favorite characters. She has her moments but I just don't like her that much. Mayoi Snail's character and ending actually makes it one of my favorites along with Tsubasa Cat.
Finished Code Geass episode 22. [sp]Oh Lelouch you fucked up big time.[/sp] Also, is it appropriate to discuss cosplay matters here? I could use some assistance.
What the hell. You don't like Quentin Tarantino movies either I suppose?
The fuck has Tarantino to do with that crap?
thank you
Oh man, damn. 9 people reading it. Made me burst out laughing. 9 (probably men) reading something pervy together.
he did a good job for a 15 year old chinese dude in a short amount of time. And the translation really improved toward the end.
duwangman is a true hero
IMO, mayoi snail is the weakest arc, so at the very least get that over with before judging it any further, the next arc is really fun
I find Mayoi's arc to be the strongest. Kanbaru's arc was the weakest because it wasn't all that special except for the animation, and she isn't even a returning character.
