Didn't dream about this last night, but I was in a few weird places unbeknownst to me but I was constantly smoking cigars the whole time (something I never do) and Robert De Niro was in my dream too, but only for the last bit because he stabbed me because I was mocking his face that he makes and I woke up :\

Sorry Robert, I love you really :v:
Had a weird one last night where it was Christmas eve and a pretty gril from my dancing club was at my house. Apparently it was also Hanukkah, so she had to stay in a closet all day except for when she would pop out during a midpoint. Shortly before midnight, it was her custom to remember the Holocaust and she went into the closet. Then when she popped out again, she had chest hair. Dafuq brain?!
I was abducted to an alternate dimension by a being of some sort, along with a couple dozen others. It was a large industrial complex, with tons of rooms and areas. The being (which was in the form of an old lady) told us that we would have to play a death game of sorts, we had to escape the industrial complex and survive many dangerous traps and obstacles.
The first people to escape (top 3-5, not sure) would be sent back to their original lives/dimension and the rest would either be executed for being too slow, or die from the traps on the way. The execution was essentially the player exploding from the inside like as if there was a tiny bomb in their chest, like a blood-filled balloon getting popped. The time did not move outside this dimension, we could spend days there but if we won we would come back to reality the same time that we were abducted.
We all got a bunch (a dozen or so for each) of little plastic balls (size of a ping pong ball) that contained helpful objects for the journey. There were weapons (we were allowed to kill other players) and stuff like rope, food etc. They were somehow fit inside the tiny balls, because of dimensional fuckery, and what we got was all luck (you couldn't determine the contents from the ball itself, it had to be opened which was only allowed once the game started).
The game started and we ran off to various obstacles (there were multiple routes). The one I and a few others went to had a chain fence door that was closed by steel wire which we had to slowly unwind to open the door. Another player had gotten wire cutters from one of his plastic balls so it very much sped up our progress.
The various "routes" were separated usually by chain fence so we could see what the other players/groups were doing. The ones next to ours were trying to squeeze through an air vent, but because only one could go at a time, they were fighting for the order of progression (remember that the last people to finish would get killed). Our side had it easier since it was a door that we eventually opened because of the wire cutters and we all could run through at the same time.
After the door there was a stairway that we ran down (I thought about pushing the dude next to me to stumble to his death but decided not to) and at the bottom of the stairway, we found a water-filled deep pit. The pit was filled with sharks and those ichthyosaurs from half-life. We had to fight them with random weapons from our plastic balls. There was also another player sniping us with a rifle (again a lucky pick from his plastic balls) from another route (their route took them on a skyscraper so they were able to shoot at us).
I remember swimming through the pit, but I woke up before I ever reached the end of the "game".
I died in an accident at work (falling downstairs and breaking my neck) but then Jesus came along, raised me from the dead, and said something about me still having a purpose to serve. Fortunately nobody was around to see it happen, otherwise there would be a number of awkward questions sent my way.
I was at this gathering of autistic people to determine who among them was a genius. One guy thought he was Jesus, and dressed in an appropriate manner.
Eventually I got naked for some reason
I don't remember all of it, but I noticed that my dreams are usually in one way or another related to events or things I saw the day before or happened recently. I remember I was on some HL2RP map in Garry's Mod and could even see the name of it, it said something like hl2_city8_v2, but it actually looked like a completely different map. Then I remember being at some spongebob-themed racetrack and racing, and saw the Patriots logo at random times on random shit, probably because I bought a patriots poster that night. Before I woke up, I saw a rather vivid version of my room, but a pendant hanging on my door looked like it was from Spongebob, it had a bamboo frame on it. I then woke up and saw my of course actual room. My dreams can be really incoherent at times but they all make sense when I link them back to recent things I saw and events.
It was a zombie apocalypse dream, but instead of normal hurdur bitey-zombies, it was some form of aggressive insect parasitism and it was terrifying. I remember a lot of detail in random parts of the dream, but as usual since I don't keep journals, my memory's already going really fast. So I'm gonna do this in bullet points.
- They still looked less like zombies and more like they had a really nasty fungal/plant-like/greenbrown infection.
- They weren't artificially super strong or fast. Just normal raw human abilities.
- The infection was basically instant. Not Zombie --> Zombie.
- That said, they were terrifyingly smart and kept adapting.
- Also hive intelligence. One knew were you were, they all did. This meant bumping into a few could bring hordes.
- There were actual giant insects too, but I don't remember them/never saw them.
- They would re-purpose entire buildings as what you might expect a giant insect hive to look like. More wasp-like than bee.
- Typically it would be smaller buildings or just portions of large ones - think like the size of a fast food place.
- They would also re-purpose bodies. They turned decaying/exposed human skulls into these weird flying things. These would attack in swarms, but were just a tiny bit slower than sprinting speed thankfully.
- They started using make-up and cosmetic stuff to try to hide infections on some people. It didn't work perfectly, but it did instantly cause panic in the only huge group I found and I had to run away from it.
That's about all I remember. Also, when the big group turned up, Shaquille o'Neal was at the head of it doing that fucking smile he does. I have no idea why this is, I don't know the guy and I'm not even into sports. v:v:v
[sp]He was tall as fuck tho[/sp]
I was in a weird universe where a WW1-level army was fighting a modern army with aliens mixed in. I was in the WW1 army, we were commanded by a tyrant-like lieutenant called Ryan. The bases for each side were only a kilometer or so apart. Our base was an old wooden mansion surrounded by trenches, and the modern base was a skyscraper with helicopters flying around.
I remember the modern army wrecking our shit, all of us were running for our lives towards the second line of defensive trenches, and soldiers were getting killed all around me by machinegun fire coming from the tanks chasing us. I got into a trench and started reloading my rifle, the soldier next to me told me to load red-tipped bullets to penetrate their "land ships" (tanks) in the bottom as they rolled over our trenches. There was a shortage of ammunition and I was picking the bullets one by one from a small box embedded into the side of the trench. I took some pot shots at the tank commanders sticking out of their hatches, and some random soldiers near them, so they retreated.
I got tired of the lieutenant's tyranny and ran over to the modern side to join their army instead. There were a couple of aliens with tentacles that captured me and took me to their leader. Their leader handed me a giant rifle and told me to snipe the lieutenant, which I did as he came by his mansion's window.
Eventually I acted as a diplomat between the two sides thanks to the war-hungry lieutenant being killed off, and we made peace and had fun swimming in a nearby river.
I dreamt that we were testing cloning technology and brought my dog that died a few years ago "back to life."
Even if it was a dream, it was nice seeing her again.

How come my memorable dreams are always either fucked up or slightly depressing? I never get to have cool shit happen like that guy who got tasked to kill a bunch of Nazis and shot his gun out of his zipper by pelvic thrusting. :(
Apparently my mother signed up for Mumsnet by filling in an application form and giving it to James Bond's secretary. Then, it needed 5 years for it to be approved.
Facepunch raised an army against communist America and i was banned so i couldn't join. Everyone laughed at me because i was the only one to be unable to join the army. Even the damn spam bots were there
i suplexed an owl
Walked on an icy lake, the ice broke and slowly sucked me down as if the water was quicksand, and I drowned. Then somehow resurrected at a nearby house, and found my own rotten corpse in the water
Saw a green-clothed dwarf take 4 arrows to the chest.
Essentially, it was a mixture of Legend of the Hidden Temple and Final Destination, 3 teams of two (red, blue green) in a jungle temple kind of thing. They all knew they were about to die, the only death I remember is the last one; the dwarf was already hit by three of the arrows, and in a final act of love he threw himself in front of the fair green maiden to save her from the final fourth. "Camera" slowly goes up as the woman in green cradles the dead dwarf, tears streaming down her face. Like a classic movie death.
i fucked a middle aged indian lady
.
At a bar in the middle of a shopping mall when an old fashioned train crashes in through the ceiling at a twenty degree angle to the floor and causes a massive electrical fire. it misses me by inches because someone beckoned me. the rest of the dream is really narrow poorly lit hallways towards the emergency exit
I dreamt that me and the bf had a family and it was all happy and nice. :downs:
I was in some building and I had a taser and was running around tazing people for fun. I remember thinking of the logistics of how many people I could taze before the police showed up.
I tazed the women at the front desk of the building and then a lot of other people. Then a little bit later I saw a policeman walk through the front door and I freaked out and started trying to casually but quickly walk away and I went to go hide in a bathroom. I walked into the bathroom and went into a stall but for some reason the door/walls on this stall were only like 2 feet high?? So I was sitting there pretending to take a shit while everybody can see me because of the small walls on the stall.
Then the policeman walked into the bathroom, so I made small talk with him while pretending to take a shit. When I was done, I got up and left the bathroom feeling relieved. I walked out to the parking lot, got into my car and drove off. I got away with tazing so many people
I had a dream that I started a Tom Preston thread here on facepunch. Why? What the fuck
Texting with my newly single ex, getting along after over a year apart.
Scary part is that I found out after waking up that she actually is single again... what the fuck.
Spider-Man, Rayman and Batman fought against each other on top of a building because there was an argument about whose face would be on the side of the building.
I found myself kneeling, tied-up, in a cemetery as a man in a checkered suit was about to shoot me. Then I woke up and my iPad was playing the song "Big Iron" by Marty Robbins for some reason.
I had several dreams.
-Skywind apparently wouldn't work with an existing game. On an existing game, it would colour the world in strange ways.
-Ivan, from the Russian sitcom Interns, was surprised that an intern of his actually volunteered for night duty. It turned out that his intern has an abusive family and wanted to delay going back home.
-I played a new Spyro game and I was rewarded with a bottle of dressing for beating a skill challenge called Chase the Bear. I actually even tasted the dressing.
-Then, there was a competition of who would control Thameslink. One girl was super confident that she would get it.
I died in a car crash, along with my friends and family. We all woke up in this big plain room that was filled with other people who've died recently. Of course we didn't want to stay in there, so we were finding ways of escaping the room and getting back to being alive. We managed to push through the walls and saw a huge office building floating in a black void with a blue bridge connecting it to the room. I woke up before we could cross that bridge, damn.
I had a dream that I was playing Halo 3 on PC. Been having that dream a lot recently.
i keep having moments in dreams where I try to flip people off but I have trouble moving my fingers, so I'm just awkwardly standing there looking like I'm having spasms in my hand while they slowly walk away, looking slightly sorry for me :(
also, a while ago I had surgery on my nose and had to sleep in the living room where my parents could check on me easily. I had trouble sleeping because I was struggling for air. One evening, while my parents were sitting around watching the news, I woke up from a dream, but still thought that I was in the dream for a few seconds after. In the dream, I was talking to one of my siblings about something, and I was about to sing "do-re-mi-vegetable" (?????). But the dream ended before I could and I ended up singing "do-re-mi-vegetable" out loud (not too loudly, thank god). A few days later the same thing happened, except I was saying "HE FUCKING IS ONE". Nobody was around to hear that, though

My best friend made a tazer for some kind of Technology project, he had an ambition of going on a tazer-spree.
I was in a space station and there was a small river. I went to lie down on the river and it started pushing me forward. then i came up to a really small water slide and when i was about to try it some other guy just went before me and everyone was mad at him and started shouting. My hand changed into a duck's face and started quacking at the guy. Then i went to the restaurant that was nearby and Rowan Aktinson was eating there dressed as Mr.Bean i asked "Don't you have anyone to eat with?" And he just replied "No, i'm a lonely guy" So i decided to join him
This dream was so coherent that I had to write it down when I woke up this morning. I love dreams where you have emotions you've never felt in real life. Fear and dread are interesting and all, but in this case it was accepting I only had a short time to live and being at peace with it.
At the start of the dream I'm in a bed in a wheat field and a zombie is nearby but unaware. I try to get out of bed quietly but the zombie is alerted and shambles onto the bed. I'm terrified but the zombie is slow and doesn't manage to bite me. I make it off of the bed and get away-- cut to next scene
I'm now on the water in a huge lake. I'm on a jetski or some kind of water boat with a large exhaust. It is still a zombie apocalypse btw. At this point I'm with some girl. She resembles Red from the game Transistor vaguely in that she has red, flowing, wavy hair and an overall elegant look to her, wearing some kind of modest dress, but it's difficult to remember her face (defined jaw and cheekbones, rounder face shape, overall elegant but subdued I guess). We're navigating the lake and come across two large metal structures that I think are oil rigs of some kind. I move in closer to investigate but the exhaust from the boat/jetski ignites something on the rigs and they both catch fire and dramatically explode. We head to nearby land and meet up with her group. They're at a picnic table hanging out. I hang out with them. The girl and I get along well and it seems we have growing feelings for each other.
They then go out onto a pier in the lake and all dive under, I follow. They swim down to a very large metal tube sticking up from the bottom of the lake and swim into a hole in the side. Holding my breath, I swim with them through the tube until we reach the end and find myself out of the water and in front of a vault-like door. This is apparently their hideout from the zombies. We go inside. It resembles a vault from Fallout 3. Directly ahead is a large open living area and to the left of it are several other smaller rooms. There is more to the base, but in the dream I don't visit those parts. We hang out there for a bit. There is a generator of some kind with a % power display, and someone sees that the bunker is losing power. I wondered if the oil rigs were supplying it with power somehow, and that I had doomed the bunker by accidentally destroying them. We determine that we'll need to leave the bunker behind and make our way through the zombie-ridden surface to find another place to stay. We'll do it in the morning. I suggest that we should go now in case something happened during the night, but we sleep and leave in the morning.
We are then on land in an area with tall fences and things, vaguely resembling the Half-Life 2 area where you're first shelled by headcrab canisters. There are lots of zombies around but we get past them Shaun of the Dead style by pretending to be zombies. Everyone was doing their own zombie impression, and so was I, shambling and twitching angrily. At one point there was a zombie who tried to make me jump by getting up in my face, but I didn't flinch and we kept going. The fenced area transitions to a mall-like area that we slowly progress through, and then we find ourselves in a dark marble building resembling a darkly lit grand hall, but its design is maze-like with odd staircases all around. I get separated from the group and try to find them, but I can't. I decide to try to find my way back to the underwater bunker, but can't find my way out of the building. I see another woman, blonde hair in a bun, she seems to be working here, and ask her if she knows how to get to the lake, and she tells me the way to get out.
I am now out of the building trying to find my way back to the water. The area is a suburban city setting with a large park, buildings nearby, and some kind of fair happening with rides and stands. There are massive crowds of people enjoying the fair and there are no zombies to be seen, but I know that danger is looming and all of these people are completely unaware. I walk along the outside of the fair, looking in at the rides and people. Suddenly the rides start crashing, people start running and screaming, and I know it's happening. I start running to get to the pier. Along the way I see people being eaten, turning into zombies, including Cosmo Kramer as he becomes a zombie (sure why not). I also see 4 people standing together in some kind of suicide pact, all stabbing themselves in the wrist with something and falling over. As the madness happens around me, I had some sort of angry monologue with myself about how the world is turning to hell, there's nothing left but chaos and hatred, and fuck everything. (The emotion in it made sense... but the words were too jumbled to recall). At the end of my angry soliloquy I reach the pier and escape into the water, leaving the destruction and death behind me.
I find the tube on the bottom of the lake, but the hole is too small to fit into this time. I struggle with it while holding my breath, but then I find the larger hole on the other side of the tube, and swim through. I made it to the end and emerged from the water, breathing in deeply, and went inside the empty, abandoned bunker. I knew that I was safe... but that I was still doomed. The bunker was low on power, I couldn't fix it, and I couldn't go back outside, so I resigned myself to death there. I remember thinking that while everything above was in chaos, it was so quiet and peaceful down here. I took a look at the generator, it read 13%. I wondered how long before it ran out. I wasn't sure if at 0% that I'd lose oxygen, or if the bunker would lose pressure and implode under the weight of the lake. There was nothing I could do, except try to conserve power, and wait. Slowly, I made my way around the bunker, turning off the lights in each room, light-switch by light-switch. I knew that I was only preparing my tomb. Maybe I had a few days left.
Only a few lights remained to be shut off, they were along a stairway. A clockwise turning stairway of small straight flights of steps ending in 90 degree landings. I climbed each small flight to each landing, and flipped a light off. The next small flight, then flipped the light off. The last lights of my life. Another.... then another.... then another..... Shortly, I ended at the top, in a dead-end room the size of a supply closet. Only one last dim light remained; I left it on. In this room was a small couch and a few items. I set up a small portable generator to power a tiny 5" portable television. In this small, dim room, I sat on the couch, sat back, and watched television on a tiny, grainy screen, waiting for the end...
...
An hour, half-hour, minutes, several hours, I don't remember how much time had passed, but I heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Slow footsteps. I watched and waited for what would come around the corner. It was her, the red-haired girl, she made it back to the bunker. We smiled, and she sat beside me. The world outside was crumbling and our bunker was losing power, but there we sat, content and somehow cozy, waiting out our last days. One television show ended and she handed me the remote; "your turn". I flicked to another station, and she leaned over and put her arms around me. Setting down the remote, I put my arm around her, and we watched.
She got up and went downstairs, and I followed. I decided to check the power level of the generator, and it read 33%. 33, is this right? That's more than before, the bunker is gaining power. I called out while watching the reading. A decimal place flickered and struggled as it grew to a higher number. We were safe. We turned on a single light in the living room area, and sat comfortably together, taking in the joy. We still had to wait out the horrible creatures outside, but we were going to make it. We were going to be okay.
...and then two of my cousins came out of another room and sat with us. "You made it too!" I said... and the dream ended. (I think this last weird bit was the dream just collapsing. I'm gonna say that's not canon, it totally ruined the moment.)
