Avira is awful nagware.
Avast! is a lot better. The sounds are annoying as fuck, but once you adjust the settings to turn useless crap off, you won't notice the program at all.

It pops up an ad telling you to buy the software every now and then. I'm not sure if it's every time it updates itself or every day or what.

and before you say norton sucks. it just uses my cpu, i have not gotten a virus from anything and it doesnt mess with my games.
so basically, i'd suggest norton to fix your hacker problem

Go into your avira folder, DELETE aviranotify.
