Well the earliest video game related memory I have was playing some sort of iteration of Mega Man. It was probably, in all likelihood:

First game i played was a game called "forbidden forest" for the commodore 64. Anyone remember it? It has an awesome theme song. Was actually scary to at the time.

My dad was really good at it and taught me how to play, had tons of fun with this.
Impossible to remember which the first game was but I remember playing Grand Theft Auto, Blood etc. on my cousins computer and a lot of Super Nintendo when I was like 6 or something. We had Super Mario Allstars which has like 5 Super Mario games on it for SNES. Grew up playing Zelda and Mario on N64, and Sly Raccoon, other GTAs and stuff for PS2 and TONS of Diablo 2 because we couldn't have internet in the house we were living in, but as soon as we moved out and got internet I started playing World of Warcraft with my stepdad.

Loved that game. Was the first game i got to my PS1.
Best game on PS1 is Abe`s Oddworld though.

Dude that shit was the bomb, I lost my copy ages ago but I remember grinding my balls off to get all the sexy parts and then slap the biggest engine in there for supersonic speed.
My plan totally failed obviously cause this game was so good at teaching realism, meaning you'd run out of fuel so fast it was crazy.'

God damn, does anyone remember the massive downgrade in quality from the initial demo for Sin compared to the retail version? The demo had location damage similar to Soldier Of Fortune, tighter controls, and better performance. I can see that maybe they worked their butts off on making the limited content in the demo extra polished, but there shouldn't be such a noticeable difference as there was. Maybe I'm remembering things wrong, it has been almost twenty years.
