Every morning before I wake up, my mum brings me up a cup of tea, the smell of it is so pleasuring, it wakes me up in a happy mood
That new album smell
Smells are so weird
Have you ever caught a smell by accident, be it somebodies perfume or such and it's mentally transported you back to something irrelevant in your past?
Smell association is very powerful, and it never sends you back to something irrelevant. It sends you back to something you've experienced, something your subconscious has slotted away into the deep recesses of your mind.
There's a smell that will always remind me of when my mother would come back from the grocery shops whilst it's raining outside: a mix of her coat that was wet and her perfume. Always makes me think of shopping and the relief my mum would have on her face from being out of the rain.
When you walk down the washing machine soap aisle at the shops
Its just an orgasm of all the different flavors of clothing soaps
I want to always stay in that aisle

When the smell is really strong it's horrible though.

Paintpens and markers, same as above
The inside of Audubon Society field guides, the mix of photo pages, thin paper pages, and the cover combine into an amazing smell. Really takes me back to when I was a little kid flipping through them in my school library.

I dont think it should smell like fish, normally that is a sign of an STI/STD. If you are not joking you should probably get checked.
cigarette smoke smells horrible to me and gives me a headache, But it reminds me of my (passed away) grandma, And my aunts (who aren't dead).
Also the smell of a bar inhabited by goats, We use to have goats until dogs killed them, Luckily we got new ones, And I still love that smell.
The smell of freshly packaged toys (the plastic).
Also, a very very slight scent of skunk that reminds me of space camp.
Old peoples homes. Reminds me of visiting my grandparents and all the wonder/mystery I had of their home as a kid.
Conversely, retirement homes smell like a hospital of death and depression.
chloroform in a rag.
I forgot to mention this in my last post, but there's this gold plated ring of mine that smells good to me for some reason.
