I guess creativity plays a huge role. You cannot teach how to be creative, you just need to learn how to tap into it. Everyone is creative in some way, I'm just lucky that I learned to how utilize mine at such a young age.

Maybe music is not your creative outlet. And fine arts are not the only creative outlet, all disciplines can be inherently creative, that is how anything ever innovates in the world!

14 hours into Divinity Original Sin and I just now figured out how the skill leveling system works. Upon leveling up you need to not immediately spend that skill point and instead save it until you have enough for the next level in that skill. For example, I have level 3 Crafting, and I want to bump that up to level 4. I would then need to accumulate 4 skill points to put towards a skill upgrade.
Its kinda an obscure way to do it. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, I would have just preferred not having to spend 4 skill points going from level 3 to 4. It would also been nice if they had a tool tip or something that explained that.

Believe me when I say I don't hate old school RPG traits. Things like no quest markers, open ended quests where you have to think to solve them, etc. I will freely admit that these things frustrate me quite a bit, but I can appreciate them and see why people like them. I don't think I would have been able to complete over half the quests in Morrowind without using a guide.
