Why don't/can't we have signatures? - General

Signatures are awesome, and I've always felt bummed not having one. I mean, a while back there was an option for one, but it only showed up in PMs. Sigs are great in so many ways, and FP doesn't let us take the opportunity to further distinguish ourselves. I don't know why I've waited so fucking long to ask this, but it just caught my mind and I thought I could get an answer from someone.

It would either take up too much space or be an opportunity for people to be annoying dicks using it as advertisements or something else stupid.

They GENERALLY DO NOT take up too much space, especially because most forums add restrictions to them~i.e. size restrictions for images, word count, etc.

And I always get confused about where the post ends and the signature begins and read through all of it! >:c

Sorry that you can't put your favourite Master Chief quote in your sig kthx

They are fucking stupid.

Clearly none of you have ever heard of a simplistic thing called a Signature Size Limit.... A sig shows other users a little glimpse of your personal style. If they see a good looking sig, they assume you're a professional. It's not a matter of advertising. In my sigs I just put a funny quote in that is related to the render I use.
